Sounds good. I need to OC some of my components. I'm running a Phenom II X4@ 2.8Ghz, should be able to jump to 3 pretty easily. Running 3GB DDR2 though :/ I'm planning on a new PC for birthday anyway.
Yeah I think ATI always struggle with AA slightly on games which reduces its functionality over Nvidia cards. Well, thats what I gathered from reviews. I was looking at getting a 6950 which is about on par with the 560ti and excels in some games, but the FPS drop off was sharper on higher resolutions and when you enabled AA so I went with the Nvidia. I've had ATI's for the last 6/7 years though. An X550 256mb and my current HD4850 512. It runs pretty much everything but is struggling with BF3 30-50 FPS on low at 1024x768 (not native) and Witcher 2 Med/high at around 30FPS native. I know when its time for a new card when it struggles to play titles not at my native resolution.
I'm planning to pick up a 1920x1080 screen in the next month or so, a new card is desperately needed.
