I know I said a while back I wanted to do that, and I could actually play it right now, but since SirLink got it, I think we could wait for him too. I recently planned to do Star Ocean 4 soon.

Plus I'm not sure if I'd get all of VC done before FFXIII-2, released Feb 3rd. After that it'll be TLS, then probably Valkyria after that.

A giant 8-part Okami poster and two wall scrolls for the remaining blank walls in my room. Smilie

Also bought this for €20 on ebay...

just for the hell of it.

Well that and I saw a really nice review and demonstration video on Youtube using the exact same adapter.
Video below at 6:15 for some Soul Calibur II footage. Even with off-screen recording at only 720p, I can see that it looks way better than it does on my TV playing it on the Wii with component cables. It's a cheap (though inferior) alternative to getting a good PC to run them on Dolphin in HD, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Should be nice for eventual replays of some Gamecube/Wii games.

GTX560Ti Overclocked £168 Aria. Also came with a copy of Dues ex

For my 21st I'm going to request basically a new system and another one of these cards so I can run them in SLI and that should have me set for YEARS.

Thank you very much tax rebate!!

Nice one Calum, that's alot faster than my Graphics card, should last you a while.

I just brought Sonic Generations on PC for £9.99.

Out of curiosity, what are you running?

Only an ATi HD5850 slightly OC'd to 775MHZ, with an i5 760 OC'd to 3.15GHZ, 4GB RAM DDR3 OC'd to 1500MHZ (so about 750MHZ in reality). It has started to struggle a bit with some games, but that's usually because they're built for Nvidia cards, I can always overclock the CPU more, but it's usually fine anyway with running games on high.

Sounds good. I need to OC some of my components. I'm running a Phenom II X4@ 2.8Ghz, should be able to jump to 3 pretty easily. Running 3GB DDR2 though :/ I'm planning on a new PC for birthday anyway.

Yeah I think ATI always struggle with AA slightly on games which reduces its functionality over Nvidia cards. Well, thats what I gathered from reviews. I was looking at getting a 6950 which is about on par with the 560ti and excels in some games, but the FPS drop off was sharper on higher resolutions and when you enabled AA so I went with the Nvidia. I've had ATI's for the last 6/7 years though. An X550 256mb and my current HD4850 512. It runs pretty much everything but is struggling with BF3 30-50 FPS on low at 1024x768 (not native) and Witcher 2 Med/high at around 30FPS native. I know when its time for a new card when it struggles to play titles not at my native resolution.

I'm planning to pick up a 1920x1080 screen in the next month or so, a new card is desperately needed.

Since I still have some money left to spare, I bought some stuff which I should have bought way sooner...Zelda-themed T-shirts! So shameful for a long-time Zelda fan to not even own a single one of them. I needed some new T-shirts sooner or later anyway, so I decided to go for the Zelda ones.

Doubt they'll all fit perfectly, but that's one disadvantage of buying clothing online. At worst, some will be a little too big but that's still better than too small since I can still wear them. Smilie

I almost went for the LG IPS panel monitor but the response time turned me off. Viewing angles don't affect me as I'm sat in front of it at my desk. I think if I was going for an IPS it would be a dell ultrasharp or nothing, and I don't have the cash to fork out for those.

Resident Evil: Revelations <3DS>

Moreso than my brother than for me. He completed it last night and he's been praising the hell out of it - he's not even a big RE fan really.
It does seem like a really impressive package. Arguably has more effort put into it than RE5, aha.

I feel more inclined to get a copy of Shadows Tale now, seeing as though Hudson are no more.
