None of the current home media releases have any special features at all, but it's pretty much maxes out the 50gb bluray disc. Future releases, like the directors cut he's putting back into cinemas in summer will, and could have 3d, although getting a tv for it will be expensive for the bear future

A few weeks ago I bought the Game of the Year Edition of Batman Arkham Asylum, because it had all the maps, plus it was in 3D. I started playing it in 3D because you get an option to turn it off or on. After about 40 minutes of gameplay I had a serious headache. It made my vision distorted and I just couldn't play it. The next day I went back to HMV and got my old version back. That will teach me not to make any more rash decisions.![]()

Yeah, thats the old style Anaglyph 3D, were red and cyan/blue layers are superimposed over the top of the image. Stereoscopic is pretty much where it's all at, with polarised lenses, and images produced for the left and right eye to create the effect. With Anaglyphic 3D, i used to get headaches for watching too long, it was no where near as bad watching the entire 150 minute length of Avatar at the cinmea

Well I wonder if the 3DS will cause problems then. I can't see how that will work without the 3D glasses. ![]()

It is perfectly possible to have 3D without the need for glasses, either by having the lenses actually as part of the screen, or in a manner similar to Lenticular cards (those things with a bunch of small cylinders across the surface that change depending how you view them)

I was under the assumption that it was 3D, not popping out, but the other way, as in it has depth and is like you're looking into a canyon, if that makes any sense.
It makes sense to me. ![]()

What I love is that all the characters and levels are already unlockedNo tedious 'Do arcade with this character 5 times'
Great for just multiplayer
I'll probably get it soon though, it still sounds way better than SFIV.

I actually dislike that myself, means I have absolutely no reason to play Arcade mode other than to improve... games without unlockables = games without motivation to play them.I'll probably get it soon though, it still sounds way better than SFIV.

You get new taunts, icons, badges and costumes by playing through arcade. And since I'll be playing it with mates (and I suck at fighters) it's quite good for me I think
I suck at fighters too, even though they're one of my favourite genres overall ^^;

I watched the English dubbed copy the other night and thought it was great. The Japanese language is meant to be far better and from what I've seen, it is. I'm looking forward to seeing all the extras on the second disc, as well.
Thanks to Bart, for the recommendation. ![]()

I brought the Cat Returns from HMV but the language setup its all messed up some taking that back.
