The World Ends With You

I doubt ill do much on this yet because im half way through lost in blue 3 just wondered about others opinions on it. All ive gathered is im in some sort of reapers games and have some pins that activate phychs. Very strange game.

I'm thinking about a purchase on friday, although since I have Wii fit to pick up next week, its very much in the air right now.

I never got Kingdom hearts, but then I think square is average and hate team rodent.

Downloaded the Japanese version and it was shit. Though that could be due in some way to the fact that they were babbling in code-speak. The awful music didn\'t help, usually I\'d expect better from Squaresoft.

The player character is a generic Square Emu bellend, he even wears a backward hoodie!

Ignoring the fact that it looks like a good game.

Videos give nothing away and I've seen nobody say anything particularly good about the gameplay.

People are starting to say good things about it now that it's been out long enough for anyone to know though.

I bought the Japanese version last year - it\'s sooooo good!!!!

I\'m at level 100 now (maxxed) - and I still struggle on the bosses at harder modes >.< (you unlock hard and ultimate later on) - the enemies aren\'t too hard...but when you get to bosses its like OMG RAEP.

But I dunno - I liked the story line - if you don\'t like JRPGs and always skip dialog in games, you\'ll probably hate it...

It's grim.

I'm getting Star Ocean 3 flashbacks. Horrendous nothing-music, surprisingly lifeless graphics, predictably atrocious dialogue between socially retarded 'characters'. I hate the way they're trying to link all the game mechanics to what can only be described as 'lifestyle' concepts which I can't relate to and don't appeal to me which just makes all the hugely abstract game mechanics very difficult to take in. The touch screen combat controls are poorly explained and unresponsive and just feel very messy.

I'm sure there's a unique game underneath but my gut doesn't suggest it's worth putting up with the above to experience it.

Anyone that thinks differently is talking BS. This is without doubt SE finest DS game and oozes class from every pixel. The combat is tricky to get the hang of but once mastered it's fantastic and very fun.

I could easily heap praise on so many other aspects, as I am sure others who own the game also could.

I loved the game, possibly my new favourite DS game next to the Phoenix Wright Games, i posted a review up for anyone still on the fence

I don\'t really understand where all the praise for the game is coming from. My main gripe is that the battle system seems to be just about tapping enemies and mashing the D-pad until you get the fusion attack thing. The only reason I can see that it is tricky at first is because they don\'t really explain the fighting properly and basically leave it up to you to figure out for yourself.

The characters are pretty uninteresting and the dialogue is dire as well. I\'m only up to the start of the fourth day, maybe it gets better, I don\'t know, but I don\'t really have any urge to go back to it and find out any time soon.

I've been back to try and get into it twice now but it isn't happening. Massive bag of wank.

It's just one of those games that because it's on a Nintendo console immediately becomes the best thing ever simply because it's not by the numbers.
