Bah, I still need to buy the first one.
Still got Skies 1 on the ol' Cube, so I'd be chuffed to bits if this one gets released.
Really strange if the PS3 is being considered alongside the Wii, would this game have a special emphasis on tilt control or something?
Yes please.
Yeah it would be odd if it\'s a PS3 and Wii release...hope the sequal is true though.
( Edited 11.05.2008 13:30 by Blade2t3 )Wouldn't mind a port of the first one as well since I missed out on the first one.
I have yet to play the first. I recently saw a copy at Gamestation but bought something else after shoving it to the back of the shelf. Hopefully it will still be there when I return. I know it's rare.
Do I need a microphone to voice my opinion?
*badum chsh*
Har har!
I read about this the other day. Apparently "Sega Gamers Day 2008" was held yesterday, did anyone hear if any info came from it?
I\'ve never played the first, what kind of gae is it/is it good?
If this is going to really come out on Wii it\'s good news. It\'s also a good chance for SEGA to show they still really mean business.
( Edited 11.05.2008 16:19 by SuperLink )Yeah it's a good game, traditional JRPG random encounters, turn based battles type stuff.
Only thing I didn't like about it was the random encounter rate was a bit high.
thanks, but no PS3 version.

Skies is a classic. In my opinion its the best game on the Gamecube. If you like RPGs then you need to play it!

As long as it's not as high as it can be in FFI/II/IV I'm OK. I can put up with that too. Sometimes on FFI/II it's just too much to bear though. ^^;
In some cave in either FF1/2 there was a bit were each step results in a battle. Very infuriating!
Thankfully Skies 1 lost some of the infuriatingly high encounter-rates when it made the transition from DC to GC.
Would be great if the sequel could have customizable/purchasable ships, I'd be able to make the Phoenixus at long last.
They mustn't have reduced it that much, either that or the Dreamcast one must have bordered on FF1 type ridiculous encounter rates!
I loved the first one and completed it on Dreamcast twice and the cube twice. Its really something special. Hopefully Vyse and some of the original characters will be featured. I;d love to see Vyse as teh father/grandfather of the main character - seeing as Vyse comepleted everything anmd become Vyse the legend, i think it'd be hard to take him elsewhere.
If anyone HASN'T played this game, seriously, i recomend it.
It\'s a very nice, very charming game, but there\'s definitely an element of it\'s one of only two well-known JRPGs on the Gamecube and equally it\'s one of only two well-known JRPGs on the Dreamcast in its popularity.
( Edited 11.05.2008 22:41 by Grumbro )Thats true but hey at least it wasn\'t shity game that everyone likes just because it was the only game of it\'s kind on that particular system.
Oh yeah, at least it's good unlike Tales of Symphonia which is popular for that sole reason despite being a humanitarian atrocity.

I\'d gotten halfway down the little path before I realised what was going on. Same distance back on both sides... the pain!

It doesn\'t matter what you say about it, nothing really changes that.

If a game gets generally positive reviews and has many fans then that means you just don't like itIt doesn't matter what you say about it, nothing really changes that.
GTAIV?

When you may think a game is shit, you have to accept that if it got positive reviews that means it's considered good in many peoples' eyes.
