Anime/Manga Fan Thread

I think my Bleach #5/6 and Death Note #10 are at the post office, couldn't fit through my letter box.

I'll get my Mum to pick them up tomorrow then i'll get onto ordering Bleach #7/8 and Death Note #11.

i just watched an epsidoe of Eureka seven, and it seems pretty good, anyone have any thoughts on the series as a total.

Hurr, I haven't posted in this thread yet.

And to start off, I don't like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or any other anime that's just made of filler - give me something that fucking ends.

List here.

Then try Deathnote. Thats short and it fineshes. Bleach and Naruto manga doesn't have any fillers, it's just been going for a long time

To be honest, manga can't have filler can it? It doesn't make sense to, unless the manga came after the anime, which doesn't usually happen.

Filler is stuff that wasn\'t in the manga, so yeah, filler in manga is impossible. (Unless the manga is based on the anime, which is rare).

And Echoes, look at his list, he\'s already seen Death Note.

One Piece anime has hardly any filler anyway.

Lets take a look at my manga collection..

(I do also have Bleach 5&6 and Death Note 10 but they are at the post office, wasn't in when they were delivered Tuesday)

Haven't started it yet though. I'll order volume two when I can.

Dunno whether or not to get the Haruhi manga. And I don\'t know if the original light novels are being published in English or not...I think I\'d rather get them...

EDIT: Apparently the first Haruhi light novel is published in english in April.

Yeah at the back of the manga I just got its advertising the light novel "Available Spring 2009".

Theres also a good 5-6 pages of the novel at the back theres a sneak preview.

Didn't see the list. He should try monster, It's brill.
I'll post up my manga collection soon though its nothing compared to people like SL.

I know its awesome. but Since he doesn't know what he's doing when he is 4 tail, is there a possibility of him harming her?

Anyone remember Paranoia Agent? So symbolic..and...complicated...

Paranoia Agent was crazy weird. Welcome to the NHK reminded me of it quite a bit. They both go into my 'what the hell is going on?' category with FLCL.

Just finished watching the second Death Note movie, after watching the first one a few weeks back, and gotta say, I loved it.

A question though; I've read somewhere that there's a third movie? Change the World, or something like that? Is it available on DVD, as I'd love to complete the set.

Oh, also, I've gotten started on FullMetal Alchemist, which outside of the Death Note Dub, has some of the best English Anime-voice acting I've ever heard. What's this I hear about a series 2 translation?

You can\'t have seen many dubs if you think the FMA and Death Note dubs are great. They\'re not bad, but they\'re not perfect. Cowboy Bebop and Cromartie High School are fantastic dubs, even to the point of me preferring them over subs.

Also never seen the Death Note movies...I\'ll have to look for them on DVD if they\'re good.

And there isn\'t gonna be a second series of FMA, it\'s gonna be a remake, if that\'s what you\'re referring to.

Okay, I admit, I haven't seen too many dubs.

Nah, what I meant was that a second season was being dubbed or something, but I don't mind any kind of remake either.

DBZ dub is pretty good, but the sub is so crap it doesn't really matter.

I thought the FMA dub was excellent too.
