Anime/Manga Fan Thread

What would you guys recommend in the way of Dubbed Anime? I need something to watch on my iPod for the way home, and it has to be dubbed as subtitles would be too small to make out.

I'm seen Bleach, Death Note, and Black Cat. Naruto I got bored with, and I'm not sure about One Piece (I'd prefer a series that has already ended so I can see all the episodes).

Try Full Metal Alchemist or Cowboy Bebop. The dubs are really good.

Crap, should've said I've seen FullMetal too.

Not Cowboy Bebop though, thanks I'll look into it.

One Piece is one to watch. But try to find the funimation dub and not the 4Kids version. Case Closed you should check out, it is a good detective anime. Digimon Tamers, and the other series of Digimon, Azumanga Daioh.

I'm still reading xxxHolic, and it's just well, weird, but it seems to be coming to an end.

Hope you guys mentionned Hikaru no Go because it's one of the best anime ever.

I'm now reading School Rumble, which is awesome, random and funny , love it and I think Tenma and Harima are excellent main characters.

Also watched the whole of RahXephon, which is a lot like Neon Genesis Evangelion, amd it's good.

Heh, you were right about that, I'm really enjoying that show. From what I heard, the dub was canceled a few seasons in, so I'll have to revert eventually, but yeah, Case Closed is highly entertaining.

Haruhi dub is good.

The anime is pretty damn good as well.

Yeah, I'd just watched the ending to that to see the differences between it and the manga, slightly different ending but all in all, still brilliant, I also read School Rumble Z and was a bit surprised at some of the pairings at the end.

I'm watching Chobits now, and the Dub isn't bad at all.

Demon King Daimao- Imagine Hitman Reborn, except with less Power Rangers-ness, more harem, and kid becoming Demon Lord instead of Mafia Boss.

So worth it. Soooo much fanservice.

Anyone hear watched Angel Beats!? it's one of the best animes I've seen in a while.

I like the band in Angel Beats (Girl Dead Monster, I think)! Not a bad anime at all, I'm enjoying it so far.

I like the band too, and it's quite emotional, something you don't get from a lot of series.

I just watched the last one it's very emotional if you're attached to the characters.

Shikamaru dies in the next chapter....

So, I've been watching a whole host of anime's lately, and the best ones are:

Sora no Otoshimono ( very funny )
Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?( incredibly funny and awesome )
MM! ( Yet again, funny )
Kanokon (ended a bit fast, but it's good)
Princess Lover! (you might see a bit of a theme here)
To Love Ru , started off awesome, finished a bit predictably, but still good.

and last but not least: Casshern Sins, I've only watched two episodes so far but it's pretty awesome, and definitely different from the originals (storyline and all).

What on earth was One Piece episode 492 about?

According to Wikipedia, it was meant to be canon. Not a spin-off to introduce a bizarre Jump manga to anime adaption thingy.

Never been on this thread too much, so I don't know of those have already been mentionned, but I can recommend those two of my favourites.

NHK ni Yokoso ! (Welcome to the NHK !)
Seto no Hanayome (I think the English title is "My bride is a mermaid")

Both aren't too long (the first has 24 episode, the second 26 episodes + 2 OVAs) and they're both hilarious.

Also trying to find some subs of Pani Poni Dash which is even more nonsensical and completely hilarious than the two mentioned above.

Just finished watching a few more different animes, but the best one I've seen which is really unexpected and emotional is School Days.

I love watch Japanese anime show and there are lot of mine favorite anime aired in Japan and as well in US. In my most favorite list of Animes : Bleach , Naruto , one piece and Dragon ball z come in top. I always give first preference to entertain myself with any other those four and today i am getting excited to enjoy today released Bleach episode 325. If you love bleach anime, then don't miss it. As i am sure, it will be totally epic one. As i am sure it will contain biggest war of the ongoing arc of bleach characters.
