Maybe you need to change the settings on the router?

If anyone wants to add me, I'm TrepeZX.Smilie

I'm not sure I like the new look. I wish I could turn half of it off. It just looks too cluttered to me now.

Cubed3 Member

Marzy, I just plugged my router into my slim before I even turned the console on for the first time, and it just did all the network stuff automatically on setup.

Cubed3 Member

Thanks for the help guys, my brother sorted it out. My brother had set an ACL in the router. So that's what was causing the problem, apparently.

Just updating the console now and then I'll add some of you. Smilie

Sky Town's Rain Factory

Like my last sky town you need to keep a balloon with you to make you way to the rain factory, I added a bit of a story to this one nothing to deep.

I want this level to be a bit harder then the last one so if you finding it hard go play my "up & away in sky town" to get use to the balloon.

well I was working on a zelda level now on hold <_< dont ask why lol

Those grey boxes around the friends list are horrible. And they made the text on it really large compared to what it used to be.

I like the added sparkles over the background animation (unless they were there earlier - I had a picture from wipeout as my background for the last year. Strange not having the logo show up when you start a game though.

I've been playing FFVII on my PS3. Love it! Smilie

I really like the PS3 menu. There's a lot to take in but I find it easier to navigate than 360's. Probably helps that it doesn't judder and hang at random like the 360 dashboard does.

Playing LocoRoco PSN at the moment, only really played PSN titles so far. Waiting for LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted, they're with my girlfriend at the moment who's driving home...

did you play flower yet really is a work of art and fun to play

and ff7 playing on psp is just as sweet too Smilie

I find playing FFVII wherever I want makes the PSP a godly console. Can also play it full screen on my TV whenever I want aswell (which isn't often tbh)

I've decided; I'm definitely gonna have a PSTriple by the end of the year. It feels like most of C3 has one now Smilie

I've had it for two days now, and the most impressive thing in my opinion is how it's such a good multi-media centre. Not just Blu-rays (though that feature is very nice), today I was watching some really random old data discs that I had burned years ago which had all the Guyver episodes on it. They're a weird format, but played fine on my PS3.

I've got LBP, but to be honest it hasn't grabbed me yet. Didn't even bother to get passed the first level. I'll play it some more, tonight. I hope they fix Uncharted, soon. I was having a really great time, playing that.

When was the last time something Xbox related came up on PS.c3? There are no topics, only Wii topics and soon to be a bunch of Trey related topics on PS.c3.

XBL Topic, 'Splosion Man, Natal. Also I'll probably make a Shadow Complex topic when I get the game... Smilie

Really, there aren't that many PS3 topics either. The PS3 is getting a buzz because of the Slim, but everyone still loves their Ecksbawks really Smilie

Yup yup. Just lots of PlayStation mutterings recently due to the Slim and price cut. I think it\'s quite obvious that most members have Wii and 360, and are only interested in the PS3 now the price has come down a bit. PS3 owners are definitely the minority on the site, I think Jump and Simez are the only really obvious Sony supporters. Not that everyone else dislikes the PS3, just that most haven\'t considered it worth the extortionate price before now, I guess. That may well change soon as more members start shelling out for a Slim.

I myself intend to get a Slim when I can afford it. Which still may not be for a long time. Smilie

The Xbox and Wii still have a far larger library of games worth getting though in my opinion, but then I haven\'t really followed PS3 releases, so I\'m not really sure what there is. I just know I want Little Big Planet, Project Trico (The Last Guardian, is it?) and Kingdom Hearts 3, whenever that is revealed.

Also, why the hell have people started calling the PS3 \'Trey\'? Did I miss something? Have people always called it that? Stop it, it sounds stupid.

Somehow the interface seems more crowded; I think the icons have been crammed closer together. Store icons are everywhere, ads most of the time are shoved in my face.

The old XMB was awesome. It had this great minimalist look that was somehow just calming. I used to scroll through the XMB sometimes just to enjoy how nice it looked and reflect on how the PS3 was a classy piece of hardware. Having the XMB be the same on both the PS3 and PSP was also a nice touch.

Now...not so much....

It's pronounced "eggs-bawks-tree-siddy", say it with me...

Sorry about my rant yesterday, it was pretty frustrating at the time, but I've really gotten used to the menu now and it's not so bad after all.

I'm finding it a decent system so far. I've been playing Little Big Planet quite a bit and I'm enjoying it. I played one of Jumps levels and it was really good. The single player game is also good. I downloaded the Batman: Arkum Asylum demo last night as well, so I'm going to try that out today.

Overall, I'm enjoying it.

Cubed3 Member

Yeah I was playing LBP last night. I still haven't quite gotten into it (haven't tried making my own level yet), just been going through the single-player story to collect items and jazz like that.

Cubed3 Member

You guys should buy Fat Princess so I can shoot arrows in your face and feed your princess cake until she goes into cardiac arrest.

Yeah, so far it seems fantastic for that. If you've got the data discs but can't be bothered digging them out all the time, you can also brilliantly press triangle and copy them onto your hard drive. I got a bunch of video files and just copied them straight onto my system before and they now turn up for easy viewing under the video banner, much like games do under that one. Loads really fast, too.

Trey is sort of close the Spanish word for the number 3. It kinda sounds ghetto. I'm from the ghetto, am half Portuguese and I'll say Trey and Quattro next gen.
