I think some of teh chips are set differently, mine when I set GMT on it, it always is about 20 minutes ahead of itself. Not everyone got the problema t the same time.

Suks that I have lost all the trophies for Heavy Rain seemingly, although it did give me a random one from what I had beforewhen loading a chapter so all hope is not lost

I'm back PSN works, gonna check my Heavy Trophies now......

Edit - Yep trophies are there still at 5% completion. I can't wait to play tomorrow, but that was definitely the longest day. Hope to see if Sony said they fixed it so I can say NO.

I don't think i've kept them. I got the Interactive Drama when loading up a later chapter, but no others. Got both from the chapter I played, didn't do that before

Well this did actually happen at a time when all these cool new games are releasing. You yourself would've of went mad if you weren't able to play FFXIII.
Plus most people were at work. I had a day off and planned to play HR but couldn't.

I just saw what you said on GAF Jump, I laughed.

Smilie poor Dreamcast. Never stood a chance. Smilie

Well, HMV cancelled my Heavy Rain order in the early hours yesterday as I was unable to call them all weekend. The good news, they've got more Special editions in stock so I've ordered it with a different card. The bad news? It's costing me £5 more than the price I pre-ordered it at. Smilie

Cubed3 Member

How much was it originally because it would suck to pay 50 large for it?

Cubed3 Member

I bought a Jack Sparrow skin for my sackboy on the PSN. I am going to also get a Ray skin from Ghostbusters as well. They have some epic skins for that game.

Grrrrr.

I was thinking of pre-ordering FFXIII from Amazon, the Collector's Edition, seeing as it has nice goodies 'n' stuff with it, and it would make me feel special.

But for some reason the PS3 version isn't there? How annoying. Smilie Does anyone know if Zavvi will deliver by launch day if I pre-order now?

shopto will.

Cubed3 Member

I didn't know Zavvi still existed.

Cubed3 Member

Zavvi are now an online business, run by The Hut.

And since the trophies for Heavy Rain were not synced with the server originally, mine have been lost. Even loading the save file didn't fix it, and teh only trophy awarded was the one for supporting interactive drama.

That's lame, I thought they automatically sync to the server once you get them.

I can't tell who my favourite character is at the moment, you play as Ethan alot in this game but Madison is a cool character too.

Her real life model is fine too, and she's a brit too.

34% of trophies found in Heavy Rain, making my way through each chapter again looking for the small differences that can effect the gameplay.

That is what is so lame and poorly implemented about the system, they don't do it automatically. Surely it wouldn't be hard to do it automatically whilst connected, the Xbox does it.

Each character in heavy rain has their own good points and their own sort of style.

Ethan is the main character. The style his story and play takes becomes more apparent later on
Norman has some more investigative sections, where you actually have to find things around the place
Scott is more about the interaction with the other characters, and discussions with them
Madison seem like a mix of it all.

Also, the accents really annoy me in some places. At times they seem fine, whilst at others it is really bad

Yeah the accents are inconsistent and Scott Shelby has this kind sarcastic smirk even when he's being serious. It looks kind of annoying.

Mage you trophy slut Smilie

Someone on my friends list has already Platinumed it...and I'm back to a grand total of 3 trophies for the game.

Also, when you want to get a different ending, do you need to play through everything again, or just the scenes an earlier dcision will have an effect on?

The more I play the more I wonder if that's how it works. At this point it's all to do with the choices you made, a bit like Resident Evil 3.

Pre-order price was £39.99.

I guess at £44.99, I'm still getting it at the price sold at retail so I'm not really too upset. Smilie

Just pre-ordered FFXIII: Collector's Edition for £55 from Zavvi. Considering some places are selling it for £70 that's not too bad.

Zavvi's page said: "Pre-order now for delivery on 09 March 2010" but my Account page says it won't be dispatched until the 9th. *shrug* Oh wellll~
I'm not deadly excited for it, so getting it sometime next week at a nice price with a bunch of goodies is fine for me. Cheaper than ShopTo's price aswell.

Anyway right about now I feel like such an S-E whore. Curse you Nomura. Curse you and your pretty androgynous characters.

We HMV are selling the special edition in store for £45.00, I think originally seeing it at £40 online was a mistake on their end. HMV SE's are normally 5 quid more.

No HMV's site are selling the Collector's Edition for £60. There is an HMV exclusive version with an alternate sleeve which is on the site for £40 though.
