sony dont know how to hold back

His Job roles never cease to amaze me. last time he was Regional Manager of War for GoW3 now he's VP of Realistic Movements

My extended warranty runs out on Tuesday...so my PS3 is clearly going to break down on Wednesday.

Yup. That's how Sony roll, apparently. They don't have shit build-quality like Microsoft, but have built-in self-destruct timers on each PS3 console.

Buy a Mega Drive, holmes. Mine's some 21 years old and still works every single time I use it.

GoW3 seems pretty good, played it for 4 hours straight today.

It seems SCEE finally decided to see sense, and are releasing God of War Collection. A month and a half after 3 came out. Surely it would ahve made sense to, you know, release it before the last one was out?

That happened with me on numerous occassions. I get really pissed off when I find out the warrenty has just run out and a day after the bloody thing doesn't work, I think it's fate. Could be wrong though.

I've just tried the God of War 3 demo and didn't like it at all. I've not played the first 2 so this was the first time of playing it. Maybe I didn't play enough of it or maybe the demo doesn't do the game justice, but from what I played, the game just seems like every other hack and slash game.

Yup. I might have bought God of War 3 if I'd have had access to the collection disc before the third game came out. As it is, my interest in it has dulled to the point where I probably won't get the collection disc, and therefore won't be getting GoW3. Even if I get the collection, by the time I'm done with that GoW3 will be super-cheap, and Sony will have lost money on me not buying it new for the full RRP.

Still - Just Cause 2, this week! Gonna be doing some YouTube stunts. Canny wait.

They're also doing a trilogy box...but it costs the same as RRP for both of them. Byt the time the trilogy comes out, God of War 3 will be sub £30

It's probably cheaper just to get it from eBay really as well. And I wonder if anyone bought that £110 riipoff edition of it

Just got Resonance of Fate. It's one of the good Tri-ace games. Easily the best they've made this gen. Interesting battle system, however the story does little to entice

RoF dropped off my radar. 75% JRPGs I still like, but when it has no potential fan-service or face value like Star Ocean does, I have very little interest in it.

WKC is different considering it's supposedly one of the only FFXII alike JRPGs around.

Really? Because the Tri-Ace game everyone hated (SO4) has about the same/more positive reviews than RoF.

I'm not sure how to answer, because review scores for RPG's in my opinion don't seem to match the ones i like and hate, so i usually test each game and if it has either a good story, good gameplay or both then i stick with it. Tri-Ace always had the interesting gameplay style half nailed down but just never got it to an interesting level.

Resonance of Fate feels very Sega-ish in the battle system design. Very Skies meets Valkyria. I's intense and fun most of the time. Hire it out and see if you enjoy battling and decide from there.

FF9 coming !!!!!!!

Any idea when FFIX will be hitting western PSNs? If it's like VII and VIII we'll probably still have to wait like half a year...

As for Resonance of Fate, I don't get how it can feel SEGA-ish considering SEGA is the publisher and nothing more.
