I'm surprisingly tempted by Red Dead Redemption, yet I know hardly anything about. I'm not sure I'd even like it, especially if it's anything like GTA IV.

PS3 version (looks fine to me), some guy just farting around in free roam multiplayer with one of his buddies. They mostly seem to be checking out the physics. Shooting a guy's horse in the head while he's riding it looks super fun. I'm going to do this to people a lot, but from afar with my sniper. That'll be annoying as hell for whoever's on the receiving end ![]()

Been mucking around in modnations and i'm enjoyable the quirky style and map building. it's like trackmania for PS3. I highly recommend to everyone

Killzone 3, believe Simes - 21/05/10

Those of you who got ModNation Racers, Sony have probably sent the code for Sackboy to the email address you use for PSN.
Just a heads up~
Even though LKR played his copy on my PS3, I don't seem to have a code. So maybe Sony only send the code to the email of the first console that particular disc was used with?
PS. I just realised I could sign in to the (superior) US PSN website with my PSN? Wat.

Nice, now I can use the US version of the PSN portable ID for my sig ;D Cheers.
Edit: Can't use the exact HTML from the website they give you though - the sig shows up in the preview, but doesn't actually stay there after saving it. Had to take the image URL and just use that instead. Don't know how to remove the border around it now either :/

< img border='none' src=''/ >
Use that, put the url of the image between the '' and then take away the spaces from the brackets.
I might check out the site a bit later myself. Would be cool to find a sig that doesn't take up much space like my GamerCard.
So yeah, since LKR is such a nice guy (and for some reason didn't want to play as Sackboy) he gave his code to me
now I have to get it so it doesn't go to waste!

Someone will have to try
I doubt it would work though...

Is the idea you're getting at there to be able to play the true 60Hz PSone classics over their 50Hz counterparts?
Gonna try fixing my sig now, SuperLink, thanks.
Edit: No border!
Thanks, SL.

I just want to get the Tomb Raider games which have been on the US PSstore since last September. Eidos have told me they submitted the games to Sony Europe but for some reason, Sony have yet to put the games up. Yet Sony have told me it's up to the publishers to get their games on. Someone's lying to me.

Weren't Eidos bought by Square? That might have affected it somehow

god i hope FF9 out this week im going on a trip soon, and i would kill to have ff9 to play

Finally got to the huge open planet that is Gran Pulse on FF13. As great as it is to get away from the extremely linear part of the game, I'm now overwhelmed by the number of directions and tasks I can take.

Oh cool, someone's still playing FF13 - it's not just me then XD
Regarding FF9 - it's only just come out on Japan's PS Store this week. A North American release date is still to be confirmed, so I don't expect us to get it any time soon.

As for FFIX, I’ll only say this, it’s okay to start getting excited.![]()

Blimey, didn't expect that. In the past we've had to wait a while after Japan. Could be sooner than we think then =]

Yeh i'm part of the crew still mucking around in Gran Pulse, still developing each role crystal

Wikipedia says the NA release for FFIX is June 15th, and I'm not sure what the source is but for those keeping a track of Sony's blogs it shouldn't be too hard to find.
If that's true then that's under a month after the Japanese release! Hopefully us in Europe won't have to wait much longer either, I'm ecstatic about finally being able to own FFIX ![]()

new LBP level cant wait
Up & Away In Sky Town 2
by: Jump_Button
Any one who played Up & Away In Sky Town should have a idea what this is about. The idea is the player holding on to a balloon to sail across the sky, they are parts where you have to let go.
Hope you find it a light hearted level and dont feel the need to rush. Sky Town levels are special to me and couln't help myself, and i hope you enjoy it.
pics allways make it look bad

Are you using the 3D glitch for your backgrounds?

yeah i allways like trying to make my own backgrounds? base on FF9 ![]()

Red Dead Redemption Digital Foundry Face-Off.
For those who want it in short, it turned out like this:
- 360 version runs native at 720p, PS3 at 640p.
- 360 version has denser brush in the wilderness.
- 360's LOD has further distance.
- Indoor lighting more complex on PS3, with light streaming in through windows and open doors (both completely absent on 360).
- Framerate sturdier on 360, less so on PS3.
- Slight screen-tear on 360 (very slight, and mostly confined to cut-scenes), none whatsoever on PS3.
And that's about it. Kinda disappointing, but I'm sure R* did their best. I'm not a proponent of the "they're lazy developers!" whenever the PS3 version of anything comes short of the mark. R* are certainly not lazy developers, their tech is very impressive.
I assume that this particular engine and what they're trying to do with it just doesn't suit the PS3 as well as the 360. It's still amazing on PS3, and I'd urge those with the choice to make the same choice I did; Get it for the console which has your most-valued friends list. The online is fantastic in this (better than GTA IV).
I'm loving the game. Been playing nothing else since it arrived on Thursday morning. Literally haven't touched any of my other games at all. Went on an epic hunting session with my mate Josh. We killed the legendary bear Brumas!
