ICO and Shadow of Colossus are to be released seperately in Japan on the PS3. However, due to European retailers listing both games as a bundle similar to the God of War collection, I'm guessing we won't get them seperately. ![]()

VC3 is on PSP again. Fuck that.

What the hell SEGA. Where's the new PS3 VC game. =_=

I now hate Capcom. What have they done letting Team Ninja take the reigns for Devil May Cry, sorry, DmC? Dante used to be cool, now he's just some skinny emo with black hair. the series didn't need a reboot, a sequel to 4 where you get to play as Dante for the whole lot would have been what any fan would want...real Dante. Ahh I guess I'll just have to wait for a Bayonetta sequel.
Asura's Wrath looks good though.

Ninja Theory you mean? Different developer, they did Heavenly Sword which was a decent game.
I never really liked the series, so i'm open to see what they can do.

Perhaps sequelitis has set in. Nobody really needs five instalments of anything.

But in this instance a direct sequel would fair better than this crap. Like why do Capcom feel the need to outsource their well established franchises to Western developers?
And yes, I meant Ninja Theory. Metroid must have been on my mind.

Maybe the team that would usually do DMC is doing something else, or the team no longer exists, etc. I'm sure they wouldn't just give DMC to any old idiot. It'll probably be an alright game.

Martin_ said:I think the lead designer is now at Platinum, I don't know if he even worked on DMC4. The team probably is dissolved, I just don't trust the Heavenly Sword creators with DMC. I already don't like the style. I'll be waiting till I can get it for a tenner pre-owned...that is if they don't mess with the law.

I was seriously pissed off when I heard about it.What the hell SEGA. Where's the new PS3 VC game. =_=
It would make a great downloadable game even if they can't justify a full scale retail release. But apparently they just don't want my money...

So Sonic Adventure came out on PSN for 6.29 GBP.
I already own the game on Dreamcast, but I'm kinda tempted by it just to play it at 720p resolution. Plus, I never got the DX version, so missed out on whatever came out with that.
Anyone got it/thinking of getting it? Any thoughts?

Got it on XBox last week. Still has a few of the annoying glitches.
The version on the store is the DX version, with the extras cut out. You need to buy the DX addon, which adds the missions and Metal Sonic (no game gear games)

Sonic Adventure is an unspeakable game. The Dreamcast's turd-in-the-crown.

LittleBigPlanet 2 is a crazy dream, a dream to allow players to make whatever kind of game they want, but also to play though a great adventure of drama and excitement, power-ups and cinematics. But like all the most ambitious ideas, it can be a considerable challenge to turn these dreams in fun games. We’ve all been working like powered-up space ninjas and we’re almost there, but because we love what we’ve made, and we love our little sack-friends, and most of all we love all our fans out there, we couldn’t let you all get together until we knew we were giving you the best experience imaginable. Which is why we’ve taken the hard decision to delay the worldwide release of LittleBigPlanet 2, originally slated for later this year to January 2011.
We know this will come as disappointing news for all you LittleBigPlanet fans, and believe us, we are disappointed too. We are a tight-knit team and we take enormous pride in our work, so to raise the bar we’ve set with the original LittleBigPlanet, a game that has been so embraced by all, we’ve agreed to allow ourselves a bit more time to deliver the experience that our great fans and community deserve. We are truly sorry, but hope you understand that we have to build the best possible game, as it is the foundation of our community.
On the upside, we are going to find a way to give more of you a taste of LBP2 prior to launch, so stay tuned.
Thanks for your continued love and support, it won’t be long â€" we promise.
Lots of love from all at Mm.

Yakuza's taken a very interesting turn...

I got the demo on my 360, and I thought it was really awful. Terrible game. I can deal with crappy graphics, but the controls suck, the camera sucks, and the only time it looks cool it when it sends you on one of those tracks where you're not even controlling anything. It's supposed to be one of the better 3D Sonics as well.
I'm pumped for Crazy Taxi, though.

It's been seven years since Beyond Good & Evil wowed us with its personality, sharp writing, and excellent voice acting -- IGN gave it a 9. Next year you'll get to either relive the experience or see why it's a cult classic when Beyond Good & Evil HD is released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. This will be the same game released in 2003, only now it will have 1080p visuals, the character models are receiving makeovers, textures are being polished, and the soundtrack is being re-mastered. Achievements/trophies and online leaderboards have also been added.Beyond Good & Evil was created by Rayman developer Michael Ancel. It has many gameplay elements in common with The Legend of Zelda including puzzle dungeons, vehicular transport to different parts of the game world, an intuitive combat system, and even heart containers. You play as Jade, a spunky 20 year old scraping by as a freelance photographer. Her home, the island city of Hillys, is under attack by a sinister alien race, the DomZ. Jade is recruited to help expose a massive conspiracy and try to put an end to the war.
IGN played Beyond Good & Evil HD today and, after we reminded our brains how to play (it's been seven years!), we found it to be the same game we know and love.
Publisher Ubisoft has yet to announce price or a release window (other than 2011) for Beyond Good & Evil HD
Seems HD remakes are very much in vogue right now with Ubisoft, what with Tom Clancy, Rainbow 6, Rayman and Prince of Persia Trilogies also supposedly coming out in HD

Yeah, in response to the Sonic Adventure comments, I gave in to my inner Sonic fanboy and went ahead and bought it. The only good levels were Sonic's, with Knuckles' providing a bit of fun too. But the likes of Big the Cat's fishing is a load of tripe. The overall story didn't last too long really - shorter than I remember as a kid... but I think that's the same for all games we replay after years. And the shitty camera angles and dodgy controls really frustrate you and let the game down. Sonic Adventure 2 was much better.
Moving away from Sonic, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light just came out too. I played the demo today and it was a lot of fun. Some good arcade action and platforming, which still felt quite Tomb Raidery. The full game is also only 10 pounds. Someone beat the story in about 4 hours or so, but for 10 quid, it seems decent as there are tons of other mission objectives and things to do afterwards which supposedly doubles the play time.
Anyone thinking of buying? I might get it but...I have too many damn games to get through!

Crysis 2:

Crysis 2 looks brilliant, vsn't wait for it.

I don't know why SEGA had made it for the PSP. I thought the VC games were PS3 exclusive? Guess not. I will have to pick up the first two before I buy the 3rd.
