July 5th. Multiplayer beta.

Oh nice a beta of uncharted 3 multiplayer? Can't wait for that! I had a look at the multiplayer trailer on youtube and it looks like you'll be able to customize your characters and weapons this time round which is awesome.

It's gonna be f-ing awesome. I'm buzzing for it. Everything about it just looks miles better than before.

Uncharted 3 looks fab. It's a shame they've gone down the old "English villain" route, though. Cliche as fuck.

Anyone else having trouble signing into the PSN? I can't sign in on my PS3/PSP nor on the website yet they've not said there'll be maintenance and the website mentions nothing.

Just signed in. Works fine for me.

Yeah there was a problem for a lot of users earlier today but Sony managed to get to the problem quite quickly.

A high-definition Devil May Cry collection will be announced for PlayStation 3 at E3, a source has told us. The collection is being made to commemorate the series’ upcoming 10th anniversary. The first Devil May Cry released on PS2 in October 2001.

Another collection, which the source has asked us to keep mum on, will be announced, as well. It will be a dark, dirty, and dangerous collection.

Yeah, just keep trying to log into the Store and ignore the error code. I'm downloading Ratchet & Clank, as I unfortunately own all the others already. Got my PS Plus. Haven't really done anything with it, yet. I was led to believe that you could share game files? I can only find a function to upload my own. I cannot find other people's?

I thought it was for cloud saving so that you can access your save games from other peoples' PS3s if you log into your account at a mate's house or something? Or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

Got PS Plus now but not really finding anything worthwhile with it. What exactly are the best things offered by PS Plus?

From my browsings, the biggest boon seems to be the free stuff (i.e. Burnout Paradise). This is marred by it being utterly temporary. According to the Official FAQ..

A: Content that is free in PlayStation Plus will not be available after your PlayStation Plus time has expired. However, if you decide to join PlayStation Plus, you’ll have access to all of the content you downloaded during your 30 day access for as long as you are a subscriber.

Any free stuff you download as a direct result of PS Plus (so, not your 'Welcome Back' games) is rescinded at the end of your PS Plus free period. This has always been a facet of PS Plus. I suppose it blocks people from buying the smallest subscription period to download £100 worth of stuff.

Still, for someone like me who found the Welcome Back package almost totally useless, this makes the sting a little worse

Never mind. Guess I'll just give Wipeout and LBP a whirl.
