Azuardo, how could you forget Final fantasy XIII?! (Ok, I guess X-box got it too, but...)

PS3 exclusive:
I started to write down a bunch of games in this section and then realized the only game you will ever need or want is Heavy Rain. Buy it now. It shows everything the PS3 is capable of. I think it may even be cheap! (Just avoid spoilers for the game at all costs!)

-Marvel vs capcom 3 (Wait for the new "Ultimate" edition.)

And remember, PS3 games are region FREE and online is FREE so import, import, import, and download some demos, man!

Because Phoe already has it on Xbox and has already mentioned he isn't arsed about finishing it lol

I've got my eye on most of those myself, waiting for the likes of Portal 2 and Catherine to price drop. Definitely gonna get Ico + Colossus at some point in time too.

Not sure Phoe will be bothered about XIII-2, but I'll let people know how it plays when it comes out, whether it's much of an improvement over the first. Versus XIII is nowhere near coming out.

New Little King's Story game for PS Vita.

Sequel to the Wii game, with new graphics style and love elements.

Not a system buyer for me, but a great game to have on a portable, for sure.

Damn, if I had the spare money then that game would almost get me to buy a PS Vita. Of course, for that to happen it would have to get a localisation first.

Oh, it definitely will. Definitely the sort of game to have on a portable though. Shame there isn't a 3DS one.

Ah, turns out it's actually a remake/re-imagining of the original game.

Wow, lucky me, huh? Can't say that I dig that artstyle for this specific game. It looks good but knowing the world and feel of the original Little King's Story, this anime/realistic style just doesn't fit. I guess this is for people who just couldn't handle the original cutesy look of the game?

Oh and it seems that Corobo has a sword now. Can't have a more serious artstyle without giving him an actual weapon I guess.

Btw Azuardo, seeing as you're posting this in the PS3 topic, have you thought of making a seperate thread for the PS Vita? Or is this thread more like a general one for all things Sony?

Hmm not really. Even though it says 'PS3' in the title, I always kinda felt this was the place for Vita/PSP stuff too. Just a general PS thread really. Don't think the Vita will be popular enough here to warrant a thread for it. Might just edit the thread title to include Vita though.

Realistic? Realistic!? Ground control to Major Tom, this child has lost his mind. What else is realistic? Mario Kart?

The word "realistic" when describing games has lost much of its meaning this console generation and if you really think I meant it like that then have fun with that.

I think the Wii version looks better than PS3/Vita version of LKS. Marvelous seemed to have totally destroyed the humble quirky charm of the original Wii game. It looks run-of-the-mill now.

This really makes me want to go out and buy the Wii LKS as I've yet to play it.

That uncharted 3 set looks AWESOME! I really wish it wasn't a European exclusive

JP/EU soundtrack has been confirmed. It's also a widescreen version running under the RetroEngine, by a guy named Taxman.

Awesome, widescreen is perfect for this.

A choice of soundtrack would have been great, but the JP/EU one is regarded as superior.

Atlus Announces Persona 4 Vita, Persona 4 Fighter, and Teases Persona 5

This week's Famitsu has some major Persona announcements, ranging from the obvious to the totally unexpected.

First, the game everyone was expected, a remake of Persona 4. Atlus is bringing the PlayStation 2 title to PlayStation Vita as Persona 4 The Golden. This new version adds a number of new features:

A new character named Mary
1.5 times the voice of the PS2 version
Wireless support for calling on others to help you when you're about to die in a dungeon.
Other elements that fans of the original requested
New opening anime with new song from Shouji Meguro
New animation movies

A release is set for Spring 2012.

A bit more surprising is Persona 4 The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena. Atlus is teaming up with Arc System Works for a 2D fighter that will be released first for arcades in Spring 2012, then for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Summer 2012. The game is being developed by the BlazBlue team.

The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena has a new story that takes place two yeas after the events of Persona 4. Characters from Persona 4 and Persona 3 will feature in the game.

Famitsu also has a few preliminary details on the next numbered entry in the series, Persona 5. Basic preparations for the game's development have been completed, with the usual staff members in place. That includes Katsura Hashino as director, Shigenori Soejima as character designer, and Shouji Meguro as main composer.

Bloody great news.

Tales of Xillia scored 39/40 in Famitsu. Cannot wait.

So much good coming to Sony systems.

Since interest in this has been shown I figured I'd post the latest trailer for Uncharted 3 here. I believe it came out yesterday, the 31st. Still looks amazing! Makes me want to become an adventurer. Man, I wish that was a real job...
