Too true, I loved Parodius on the NES, pity my copy doesn't work anymore. Smilie

I suppose I'd like to see Earthbound, if only to see first-hand what all the fuss is about, and if Nintendo do give us a storage solution, some third-party PSOne games (I doubt that one thoughSmilie).

I wanna see Earthbound, Majora's Mask, and Smash Bros. 64 next, especially Earthbound.

Dunno if it'll get to Europe but I'm begging it does in the next Hanabi Festival.

I'd like to see some 32X games too, notably Knuckles Chaotix, 'cos it's the only proper Sonic game I've never played/owned.

Legend of Zelda: Blade of the Ancients, as part of a special Hanabi release in all regions. Maybe it could use the Wii remote to shake the dice :/. Or perhaps instead the two Satellaview games seeing as though we now have one such game that was born on the platform already released.

Demon\'s Crest would be awesome also.

    Super Smash bros
    Goldeneye

I doubt it would get released but it would make me very happy, having megaman 64 as a release. I loved that game soo much and since the legends series didn't get much attention I think it would be a good idea to stick it on, but who knows what will happen

Nintendo need to get off their arses and fix the games that are still incompatible with component cables.

I have 4 games (all mega drive) that don't yet work with them:

    Golden Axe
    Streets of Rage
    Columns &
    Alex Kidd

Whys is it that Golden Axe 2 and Streets of Rage 2 work but the first games don't? Hurry up and fix it Nintendo!Smilie

In my opinion, the reason the VC has yet to get Majora's Mask is that the Wii may not be up to the task of emulating it to a good standard. The GC coped quite badly with trying to emulate MM, and since the Wii is arguably a GC in a different shaped box, one might say that while a glitchy emulation is passable for a free give-away, it's not good enough to actively sell to people.

It's the same reason why there's not many Xbox 1 games on the 'Xbox Originals' section of the XBL Marketplace. They only put ones up there that work perfectly, or almost perfectly, because in that form, you are buying it to play on your 360, or in the VC's case, on your Wii. It's the reason that while Shenmue II is playable on 360, it'll never be made available in it's current emulated state on the Marketplace, because it's too glitchy.

You may never get MM on the VC.

I definitely think the GC emulation of MM was rushed though. The announcement for the disc came out of nowhere and the improvements were minimal.

Personally I still see it happening. It took us this long to hear about an announcement of Smash 64 so I think Nintendo still plan to release big guns on VC.

That doesn't mean it was rushed, it just means you weren't aware of it until it was released. Besides, the OOT, Zelda 1, and Zelda II emulation was spot on on that disc. Majora's Mask is one of the N64's more demanding games, and the spec requirements for emulating it on PC are significantly higher than most other N64 games (except Perfect Dark).

I reckon there's an issue with emulating it to a sufficient standard on Wii on order to sell it to people.

Now that you mention it, it is a worry.

It means I may never be able to play MM at full enjoyment again. Unless I somehow get used to the N64 controller again. So painful for my thumb though. Smilie

If what I'm arguing is true, they could still release it for Wii. However, rather than emulating it, they would have to port it so that, code-wise, it is a Wii game. This is possible, and if they did this, it would run really well (as it would then be an extremely crude Wii game). Unfortunately, Nintendo's track-record of the general lack of effort they've put into the VC (note the ridiculous state of affairs with some games not working with component cables, some games being 50Hz, not adding anything in the way of online modes to these old games, etc..) sort of suggests that they won't want to bother porting it.

I'll be interested to see if MM shows up on VC, and if it does- what state it's in.

Pretty much every Nintendo game can run in 60Hz by now I think, there are still a lot of problems with SEGA games though.

I think if Nintendo wanted to put MM on VC, then nothing would be able to stop them. They just have that air of stubbornness Smilie

I really want Perfect Dark to come to VC. It was one of my favourite games on N64, and I think it was better than Goldeneye.

I'd love to see Sonic CD on VC too. I don't know if it would be too big in size though. It's one of the few Sonic games I've never played, and it's supposed to be good.

I wouldn't mind the N64 version of DOOM either it looked like one of the best versions of the game, but I never got 'round to playing it.

Another game I wanted to play, but never got 'round to was TMNT Turtles in Time on the SNES. I thought it looked good, and it got good reviews.

turtles in time was amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazin lol, and the obvious ones not having been listed are:
Home Alone on the Megadrive..its better than you'd think!
Sunset Riders SNES, remember this game was good, however, a replay may disappoint lol
Shadowgate on the NES - a kind of point and click adventure game, pretty smart
and totally agree with whoever put duck tales up there on the list! lmao @ me remembering using the pogo stick move on the mountain goats!
