Final Fantasy

To be fair GameFAQs don't work at Squeenix, they don't really know whether or not to change the title.

It also makes more sence that the official numeric FF5&6 would be releasedon the 3DS since 3&4 were on the original DS AND Square was quoted on saying they felt the DS wasn't strong enough to do whT thwy wanted so they were waiting for a more capable handheld to put 5&6 on.

And thus...the 3DS!

Well there's also still that Chocobo Racing game that was announced when the 3DS was reveled, but nothing has been said about it aince it's sizzle reel at E3.

Still I wouldn't mind a racer like that...so long as 5&6 still come out on 3DS...also Green haird Terra ALL THE WAAAY!! That gave her personality & with the Esper blood in her green hair is entirely possible, even most Japanese fans prefer her green hair over blond.

Anyone like MineCraft and FFVI? I do.

THAT is a nice mod...I'd pick that up in a second if I wasn't too poor to buy a copy of MineCraft...very nice textures.

Just had to post this. Pure quality.

Yeah R.E. has spme funny stuff, not sure how long they've been around (the Princess Peach song was the first I'd heard of them) but if they keep up this quality I can see them being up there with the likes of Tobuscus, Freddy Wong & Epic Meal Time. I'd also list Digital Corridor but thwy focus more on action than humor I feel, still good stuff.

“Drawing upon the roots of the series with such features as beautiful 2D pixel art, job-driven character growth, additional scenarios in which to inherit the jobs of your adventuring companions, and a classic story of light, darkness, and crystals, Final Fantasy Dimensions delivers the best of Final Fantasy, retro and fresh alike, directly to your smartphone.”

Final Fantasy Dimensions will be released for iOS platforms this summer.

Update: Siliconera reader, Pete, points out that the logo for Final Fantasy Dimensions looks very similar to the one for Final Fantasy Legends: Warrior of Light and Darkness, an episodic 2010 cell phone game. Perhaps this is a port of that game? Thanks, Pete!

Update 2: Square Enix say that Dimensions will also be on Android.

It might get ports later but I can see Square wanting to give their mob audience a little something nice.

Well they said it's comming to Android as well...I might pick it up depending on price & how good the story is.

I did enjoy FF Adventures & Legends on my GameBoy...I might just give this a go for nostalgia's sake.

Hasn't FFXIV been out on PC for ages already?

Yeah and it was a disaster. SE acknowledged it was shit, apologised, made it F2P and went about remaking the whole thing into FFXIV 2.0 and delayed the PS3 version for like 2 years. Everything we see now is substantial improvements over the first version. Recent new patches have been received well and it's finally starting to look like a good game.

Interesting...I don't like how they're trying to make the series more realistic. Still this would be a cool project for Nintendo, it'd definatly help them get ahead of the pack.

DAMN IT!! Is nothing sacred to Nintendo anymore, have third parties lost all respect for Nintendo? The psp is DEAD!! Why in the hell would they share an exclusive with SOny, haven't they done that ENOUGH?!!??!

They're just getting some more mileage out of an iOS game and a dying platform, I wouldn't read too much into it. Now though PSP (and Vita owners to an extent as well) can play every numbered FF up to X, which the upcoming remake/port will deal with.

Yes my point exaclty, UNTILL FF8 & onwards becomes availible on Nintendo's systems my statement & reasoning stand. Nintendo is NOT getting the same fair treatment, FUCK YOU Square!!

I'm sure a few years ago someone from Square admitted he would like to bring HD ports of VII, VIII & IX to consoles. It could happen one day. Will see if I can dig out the quote tonight.
