Not sure if this has been posted, but for the 40th Anniversary of Weekly Shōnen Jump they\'ve aired the first new Dragonball Z animation in 11 years.

Akira Toriyama apparently wrote this little story - it takes place a while after the events of Z. Has a few new characters, including Vegeta\'s long lost brother...

...yeah!

Pretty sweet stuff, a nice 40 min-or-so story, kinda like a short anime film, decent humor and lots of references!Great to see a remixed intro with Cha la Cha and the original Japanese tunes!

Brings back some good memories! Smilie

Quite enjoyable, even just as a reminder of the old days. Really cleanly drawn too.

Can't wait for "Hurr, DBZ is shit".

love it lol good to see new DBZ i think they remastering them too

I thought Akira Toriyama was all done with this. Can't help but wonder why it's not GT aswell, perhaps any plot holes opened in this will proove GT never happened. Smilie

Looks pretty good, but I think Toriyama's style has gone a bit plasticy lately. Might be good if he's waited 11 years too... more time for ideas. Smilie

I could never stand Goku's Japanese voice actor...

Anyway, it was a pretty awesome special Smilie
I wish Akira Toriyama would continue with DBZ...

That was quite good, the DBZ movies never really tied in with the series. Except the first DBZ movie.

I bet he wishes GT never happened Smilie

Wiiicked episode... I really enjoyed it! Great animation! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
