I still need to get The World Ends With You. I heard some weird things about it but it's gotta be worth a look in. I also wanted to check out Contact but I keep forgetting.
If I redid my list, Chrono Trigger would probably be higher. It's my favourite 'Final Fantasy game' now.

Apparently TWEWY has a steep learning curve. It just seems like a style of game I wouldn't like, even though it has good reviews.
I'm not going to buy Chrono Trigger until Square Enix drops the ridiculous $40 price. I paid less for Final Fantasy IV. I will buy it, but I just can't out of principle at the moment.

Not really at all. You can control both screens at once or just one screen, courtesy of AI on the top screen which taked control of your character. All the topscreens attacks are D-pad, I dont even look at it, I just hammer the Dpad for the best effect. Halfway through it becomes quite a bit harder to control the top screen character but you get used to it quickly.
Definatetly worth playing.
