User Poll - Daylight Savings Time! Woo!

I love DST! ZOMG!
I hate DST! WTF!

Spring forward, Fall back...

One reason why I hate spring and in 1 hour, it will consume our lovely country...

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

It was used back during WWII so that farmers could have more daylight to grow more food for soldiers, but now it's kind of pointless. I don't mind the extra light, though. Smilie

TBH, it's fine, jsut means more light during the day, you'll soon forget about the time change anyway you get used to it like we do twice every year.

I have a fecked up body-clock, so I really couldn't care less. Smilie

Fine? FINE!?!? One less hour in bed is fine.? Oh the horror. THE HORROR!!! Smilie

I wish we'd just pick a time setting. It doesn't really matter which to me, I just hate adjusting the clocks and my body.

You have to adjust your body for a one hour change in time?

lol its one hour, most things update themselves unless you're talking about a conventional old clock on the wall. In which case how hard is it to move it back an hour?

Cubed3 Member

My conventional old clocks only go forward. It's annoying to fall back...

And my sleep schedule gets jacks up for a couple of days. I wouldn't mind if there was a point, but I don't see one. If we'd just decide on a time, we wouldn't have to mess with all this.

Meh, it's just tradition. We just need it for some reason. Smilie

More light is surely a good thingSmilie

Cubed3 Member

This is the good one as it means more light in the evenings. I hate the other one which just means it's so dark through the winter! I would much rather have dark mornings with lighter evenings, and surely most people would as well?

Cubed3 Member

I say we just move it half an hour as an average and leave it there. Smilie It is a bit pointless now. And it seems pointless moving the clock for more light in summer and less in winter, when there is naturally longer days in summer and shorter in winter anyway. It just makes winters stupidly dark.

Cubed3 Member

It would be far simpler just to make the Sun stay up for longer in winter, but that's the problem with he government, it's all about the money. Smilie

I just completed pokemon yellow! 151 pokemon seen and caught.
Surely that's worth a star?

I don't mind it.. The first night isn't all that fun, but as long as I get to bed on time it actually helps. I know I have a shorter night ahead of me so I go to bed way earlier then I usually do and actually get caught up on my sleep. Smilie

Despite the cost of living, its quite popular.

I just go to bed at the usual 2am and end up even sleepier than usual in the next days lecture. Smilie

Well, perhaps my post was a bit idealist. Smilie But that's what I try to do.. It by no means always works. This past time I was so sick I didn't sleep all night. :-x
