Persona 4: The Animation Getting New Movie Edition

The Persona 4: The Animation is getting edited into one single film with new footage that hasn’t been shown before, according to the series’ official website. The film will be titled Persona 4 The Animation -the Factor of Hope- and will be 90 minutes in length.

Included in the 90-minute film will be new footage as well as the “True End Episode” that was only included on the final Blu-ray disc for the anime series. Persona 4 The Animation -the Factor of Hope- will release in Japanese theatres on June 9th.

In North America, Sentai Filmworks will be releasing Persona 4: The Animation this year on DVD and Blu-ray. No announcements have been made regarding the licensing of the new movie version.

Boy am I glad my PS3 is a region free Bluray player. ^^

Hmm, kinda hard to judge from one line each, but apart from the protagonist and Naoto they all sound slightly different. Still looking ace though, day one purchase for sure. ^^

So deff Chie and Teddie will have new voice overs in Arena and Golden. Rerecorded in Golden to be consistent.

Hmm, looking good.

Gotta be honest though, I probably won't be getting Golden now. I can't justify putting all that cash into a Vita and a decently-sized memory card just for one game, (especially with the Wii U out in a number of months) and E3 hasn't exactly given me hope that anything else I want for the machine will be announced.

Will still definitely be getting Arena and the Dubbed Anime series though, can't wait for them.

Only two posts and I've had to do a complete 180 turn on Golden. The game is out now in Japan and I've been hearing some slight spoilery stuff on it. What I've heard more than justifies getting a Vita for it.

Quick example below, this is an example of the new costumes so it isn't a huge spoiler, but I stuck it in brackets in case any browsers here want to go in blind (like I'm trying to do now :p).

I'll really miss Teddie's voice.. I loved it and his new one is annoying. Chie's new voice sounds ok but her old one was also great.

I'm still not getting a Vita just for this but hopefully Virtue's Last Reward won't be a long wait either.

Indeed. I'm curious to know if any sort of added epilogue in P4G will sort of pave the way into Arena.

I mentioned not long ago about a Naoto epilogue story, as well. Dunno if it's getting translated, but maybe that leads into Arena, as well.

Hair extensions probably. I think the novel will be non-canon anyway, like the Trinity Soul Anime was to P3.

Neither have been confirmed for a Europe release yet Might have to consider importing. :/ Will wait for the complete Anime series though, that looks to only be half.

Firstly, the True End episode of the Animation was released like over a month ago (and I call myself a fan  ). It's really awesome how they blended in two major fights;

Also, seems like the dubbing is in full force. Can't wait for the complete boxset in Europe.

Chie's voice is a bit over-the-top but I think it suits her better than her old one... Or maybe that's because I'm more used to her Japanese VA so a higher-pitched voice seems more suitable for her in my opinion.

Also I'm hoping Europe will get P4 Arena really soon, I'd have a few friends there that I'd like to play with already! Atlus really isn't being fair to them

Teddie's new voice seems less annoying that the old one though (that was kinda the point I know, but still).
What's happening with Arena is just a pisstake really, I'll still support its eventual release but I hope Atlus take note of the overall backlash this region locking bollocks has caused them.
