PLEASE HELP!!!

For those of you who don't know, the missus is pregnant and we're having a name argument, we know it's a girl so that narrows it down by 50%, but she keeps changing her mind and she's doin my head in! I like Lara (no Tomb Raider references please!) and she likes Lucy, however, any nice name suggestions would be appreciated! Marzy and JB, I'm looking to you two to back me up or give good suggestions lol

Of the two, I prefer Lucy.

How about Ciara (Its pronounced like Kira not See-are-a)?
To be honest I think Lucy sounds a bit tacky. Buts all's fine once you don't call her Jacinta or Dympna, two of the most foul sounding names ever!

Lara is a good name, but I really don\'t like Lara Croft (sorry for bringing her up even when you said not to) so I personally wouldn\'t want to call my own daughter Lara out of association fear. Because of that I chose Lucy, and I know a few nice people called Lucy too. A good alternative to Lara would be Laura or Lana/Lanna.

Any name that's similar to a "precious stone" is a whore/stripper name Sinéad is a cool-ish name, just its too common over here.

You really know people with the name Krystal? I find that hard to believe, but whatever.

I\'ve always like Laura, but Lucy and Lara are both fine names as well. I\'d tend towards Lara, I know someone called Lara and she\'s the definition of normal (in a good way). Oh, I also like the name Phoebe, but I\'ve only met one person in Britain called that. I like the fact that you\'re not thinking of stupid names like \'Apple\' or whatever.

Sweaty forum-addicts shouldn't be trusted with hot beverages, let alone your kid's name. You'll end up with 'Lara Epona' or 'Espio Joe'. Therapy isn't cheap you know.

Then again, it's not exactly the nuclear button. Call him/her Ashley. Nicely oblique gaming reference for a girl, Evil Dead for a boy. Or you could claim you just liked the name. I like it. Go with Ashley.
