-Multiplayer co-op for 3 players. Different story than single player. Zones/actions in the map requiered for 2/3 players. Mini bosses in each section. Players will revive after a few seconds (lees if the other players helkp to revive)

-Deathmatch. 4vs4 you can choose two skills. And you need to explore like in Uncharted 1 to find the strongest weapons.

-Capture the treasure, is like CTF. 4vs4 trying to steal treasures from the enemy base.

If it's anything like Resident Evil 5, I will cry myself to comatose. I hate Sheva, and the idiots who always die when you're so good at the game. Forced co-op FTL >:-(

what i hear it is multiplayer and co-op multiplayer not part of the 1 player mode on they own

multiplayer......please noooo...just no

what so wrong about multiplayer they will still have the one player story and im sure ND know what they doing

I'd rather they invested their time just on single player and not bother with any form of online mutiplayer.

SmilieIt dont work that way im 100% sure the one player is where the meat is at and nothing was lose in adding multiplayer

I'll just take the wait and see approach, I don't want to eat crow. It's just now days every game seems to have multiplayer forced into it. Resident Evil became Gears of Evil and no self proclaimed die hard Resident Evil fan (like me) should want this. Imagine Snake with some co-op partner AI or human setting off alerts while you're infiltrating Big Boss style. That's what forced multiplayer or online co-op is, lame. Like I said, I'll wait and see.

MGS4 online one of my fav multiplayer Smilie only multiplayer game i played really for long

I hope they keep all climbing in too that be somthing new in a multiplayer lol

I wasn't talking about MGO. I love MGO but can't play because I forgot my Konami ID. I was talking about co-op in the sense of RE5 being in the MGS story mode and the stupid partner AI being wack.

well im not a fan of co-op so i hope it not forced I dont mind a little help but you did have a AI partner in Uncharted for most of the game so i dont see why she not fight too aslong as she dont take all your kill and items Smilie

It's because in the first game Elena being there was not the main focus of the game unlike RE5. They didn't force you to do co-op QTE's in Uncharted. Fuck even Dead Space is getting a multiplayer mode.

I might get a PS3 (pissed off with the 360's shoddy build-quality), and would be up for some Uncharted multiplayer. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

well the most of the time from what we see he on his own, 1st game play we see she no where to be see and most pics she not too so i cant see co-op being the main focus of the game

summed up thoughts exactly.

Well, Resident Evil hasn't been anywhere near scary since RE4, anyway. I don't think RE5 did anything to compound that over what horror elements that RE4 largely omitted. And what would you prefer? A return to the old style? As grand as REmake was (and it is the best RE, in my opinion), the controls are just too much to stomach in this day and age.

Sorry to hear about your 360 Martin, I got one last Wednesday, I'll see how long it lasts.

But nah I don't want the old style back, I said it in another thread. Resident Evil 4 is the Batman Begins and Casino Royale of Resident Evil - a reboot for the series. As expected, the story was cheesy but... It was well paced, the locations were more varied with the enemies, bosses and mini bosses were well balanced. Ashley added a human touch to all the inhuman madness that Leon went through and I actually cared about Ashley. I couldn't give a damn about Sheva, she's the worst character ever conceived. In return the Incredible Hulk Redfeild became a crappy character with super boulder destroying arms.

Even with the change RE4 still had the feeling of a Resi game, RE5 became something else.

REbirth REmake is awesome, but RE2 is still my favourite.

I disagree, I don't think RE5 pushed the boat any further away from classic Resi than RE4 did. They're both just action games. I never lked the castle setting, and thought the African setting in RE5 rocked.

Yeah I'll give you that. I loved the African setting, but I thought it was going to be the setting for the entire game, natural environments etc... But they then put us into a shed load of warehouse and industrial looking areas for 70% of the game.

Remember areas in RE4 like the lava room or Salazar's tower with the barrels rolling down the stairs? Or even the awesome fight with Salazar's bodyguard? There was nothing like in that scope in RE5 and I think those ideas are thrown out because Capcom had to design set-pieces around the co-op gameplay.

This is what I fear could happen in Uncharted 2 or many games that don't need this like Dead Space 2. If it's a separate mode fair enough, but don't ruin the single player experience like RE5 did.

new pics and info

Well there you have it. The multiplayer doesn't have anything to do with the single-player. Sort of looks a bit like FarCry 2, which also had a completely separate multiplayer mode..

Yeah I think co-op is like Gears (Dom is not clinging on to you, shooting at you or getting in your way and you don't have to swap shit with him). Unlike Sheva.

Multiplayer can't really be judged from screens, so I'll wait for a video/demo.

Like I said, looks extremely similar to Far Cry 2. The modes are slightly different, though. So it won't be exactly the same.

I should play Far Cry 2 again. Damn those screens are amazing, Naughty Gods I want you to make a survival horror with this engine.

i\'m in two camps on this one, whilst multiplayer looks awesome it\'s going to affect the single-player in a negative way due to not everyone focusing on it. But i\'l be trying the beta regardless because InFamous was going to be a day one purchase anyway.

Oh and the fact that the visuals could surpass Killzone 2... Awesome.
