Yeah, unconfirmed. Some are saying dead, others are saying he's in a coma. Other way, it's not good, or actually it might be an amazingly good thing, depending on your view.

Its an amazingly bad thing, despite what people think i wish death on no one, he'll always be the king of pop.

I did like a lot of his music (really catchy etc), and right before his last tour? It's a huge shame

Also he's been through so much shit, to go out without a bang is just not what people would have expected.

LA Times reporting hes dead from sources within the LAPD or something like that.

Yeah I made a blog about this a while ago. A real pity that the media shattered the last years of his life.

I feel sick, im still in a state of shock. I never cared less if he was guilty of all that crap anyway, he is and always will be the best ever to me. Im so gutted. Biggest regret is i never got to see him perform he was clearly the greatest showman.

It is a real shame. In a few weeks, I was going to see his concert. Was really looking forward to it. He was extremely talented, an amazing singer. The biggest name in the world, and his status as King of Pop was well earned. Thriller was an amazing album, and all his other stuff was good, although not as great as thriller

When I first heard, I thought it was a bad pun on a facebook status.

That was quite unexpected, really came out of nowhere.

I feel like crying. I can't though as I'm still in a state of disbelief.

I just can't get my head around it. My thoughts are with his kids and his family.

Perhaps one of the saddest thoughts for me is that a lot of people thought this new tour could have reinvigorated his career, he could have gone on to make more music after no tours in over 19 years. I mean he was even looking forward to it.

Still can\'t quite believe it. Wasn\'t a big fan as I\'ve said, but this is hugely bizarre, it seems like a bad dream at times, maybe because it\'s so late... still.

So unexpected too... didn\'t see it coming at all, I really thought things could only get better and more calm for him after his tour.

I was expecting him to struggle with the 50 live shows but this is just awful. I think it'll take a while for it to sink in for most of his fans.

The media was never able to destroy his music image completely despite labeling him a pedophile (rightfully, I suppose).

That's how big the man was. It is always a shame when someone so great never gets to complete life.

He may be dead, but his music shall live on!
