Yes, it's one of these posts, but I don't recall having one before and no - it's not the soaps you use to srub behind your ears and other places, the 'almost true to life' series you get on TV, usually aired daily.

    Mine are:
Neighbours. I've watched the show since I was young, far from when and I can remember and I'm also not too sure who got me into the show. I can't miss a single episode, why? Who knows. I've gotten sick of it at times due to really mediocre storylines, but it's picked up again recently with brilliant acting.

Eastenders I used to watch the show on and off, i.e. only a few times a month for the last 3/4 years, but I begun to really get into it and have watched throughly for the last year or so. Brilliant acting, some quirky and bizarre storylines, I must admit, but an overall good show.

Neighbours has always been my childhood soap, so has my brother and my mum. It hasn't had the best of storylines...yet.

Eastenders has been developing with very original, to the point of craziness(good, good).

Home and Away's been one of my favourites. There's a lot of good storylines there, with usurpers and so on. There was also a good storyline where a man had a brain tumour in which he had hallucinations of being reunited with his wife. He had to choose whether to have it removed, and live without his wife, or die and be reunited with her for a few more days/afterlife. First time i've seen a soap have a spiritual storyline. Was good stuff.

That episode was brilliant. It was like 'A Christmas Carol' with Alf seeing the future of Summer Bay. I really liked the way his friends couldn't see him but could see an Aborigine instead. It sounds daft but it was clever, moving and, as RosaLacrimas says, spiritual. As it happens, we had visitors so my Mrs videoed it to watch later. I watched it twice!

I loved Night & Day when it was on, it got even better when it was put on late at night. I always thought it was the UK's answer to Twin Peaks, adult, witty, sureal. Even when it failed, the actors stuck with it because they were having fun and enjoyed doing the show.

Perhaps it was a little to real for soapland.

Other than that i would go with Coal tar soap, it gets you realy clean. Someone had to say it.

I sometimes watch Neighbours at work, but that's about it. It's a programme that's good to watch when you need to give your brain a bit of a holiday. Used to watch Eastenders, but gave it up.

Nope, don't watch soaps. But my mum's bf convinced her to start watching them. Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale are the ones they watch. And they watch the Bill. Sad people.....

My brother also likes watching Eastenders. Come the Sunday omnibus edition, it is a very quiet place in our house!

I hate soaps. I watched one with my mom one day and went insane trying to figure out the damn story. I think it was the young and the restless. Longes M***** F*****g hour I ever sat thru.

Yep. Well recently, I hear all the storyline spoilers of my mum's bf, he has sources, and Emmerdale is going to get a special Chr*cuts*

Anyway, if you want to know, PM me or drop and e-mail. The information is (fairly reliable) since everything said comes true! Freeeeeaky! Smilie
