Although 2006 had loads of great orchestrated music too. I\'ve gotten angry at that game more times than I can count, but I still love the music.

Yeah.. well.. blue is a rubbish colour, anyway.

Considering blue is the most oft. used colour irl (whereas in games it's brown) I can understand being a little sick of it.

Lawl, if I was a sic programmer (and I\'m not), I\'d have a right laugh with making my own next-gen game engine, and naming it \"The Brown Engine\". Would the engine (and my company) fold under such epic laughter?

Nah, brown games are helluh popular, always getting 9s and 10s in reviews and whatnot.

I think it\'d be a hit.

I remember they did an awesome church-bell remix of the final boss for Sonic and Knuckles Collection for PC. The fucked up thing is that its only in FM Synthesizer mode which always lags a note so long, it makes me want to punch the speakers. General MIDI mode has a watered-down version which barely qualifies. If anyone finds out how to get FM Synthesizer music to work on Vista, let me know...along with how to get the Sonic the Screensaver install working.

only recall one song from Unleashed the opening one no way hear as good as say mario

I agree there, but I believe the final boss music was orchestraded too, and I thought that was fantastic.

This is my favourite track from Unleashed. The soundtrack in general is great. (except for the annoying Werehog fight music that plays every time you're spotted by a bad guy)

I think the Werehog fight music is good, but they shouldn't have used it as much as they did. Considering how ridiculously often you have to fight you hardly get to hear the normal stage music =_=

Got a spare bit of cash to use anyone? PlaySEGA now have a fully-fledged Level Editor up to create your very own Sonic levels. Haven't tried it meself, but impressions say that the editor is very robust and easy to use.

You can play other people's creations without signing up, but to make your own you'll have to bite the bullet. Though if you subscribe for 3 months or more you get this awesome thing;

Strongly considering it actually; they accept PayPal so it'd be easy for moi.

Have to say though, the timing for this showing up is very curious; could NeedleMouse have/consist of something like this?

I think they shoulda saved the fight music for more special occasions or big battles is all. I mean it's not like you're not forced into a purple forcefield arena 3 times per night stage anyway >>

Sounds like Needlemouse will be download only, and not on Wii

You know how SEGA are with leaking bits of info. I was never holding my breath for a Wii version anyway, seeing as it was touted as \"2D HD Sonic\", but I\'m not too pleased at the download only thing. This probably means it\'ll be short. :/ Or atleast lacking in some way.

Well yeah, Wii can't do HD at all. So that's out. Interestingly, Gran Turismo 4 on PS2 renders in 1080i if you have a component cable..

Wii sucks.
