Isn't myamoto now mostly involved in directing directors, instead of executing the game development? I always wonder what decisions are his. He made some brilliant games, yes, but f-zero was at its peak at gx (still love that game), metroid at the primes, dk at the 64's, and he even thought little of jet force gemini - a masterpiece of a game. All of these and more shined at the hands of others, not his.
Not that he isn't superskilled and pioneered games to insane levels (I mean, pikmin is a load of genius) but lots of the most memorable moments come from the teams that were separated from him.
Or am I completely off key here...?
