Night Sky

Playing Uncharted 2 (PS3), Fallout 3 (360), Soul Calibur IV (PS3), and Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online (PS3).

The only game I'm 'planning' on getting, and it should be here tomorrow, is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3).

I hear that game is rated AO.

Nah, it's all ages. It is a single player game though and it's got one of the best endings in game history ever.

I'm currently playing Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and Okami, but I haven't played either for about a week.

I'll be playing Pikmin 2 once I'm done with those other two.

zack & wiki, picked it up for about ten euros and it absolutely rules.

Next: new super mario bros wii. That one's gonna be fun

Free online, mostly. Often the 360 version is superior, but with COD4 and (particularly) COD5, there was no difference. COD4 had a few lower-resolution textures on PS3, but that's about it. I couldn't tell the difference between 360 and PS3 with COD5, at all. In that situation, the console with the free online gets the nod. Plus I find my PS3 to be a more pleasurable machine to use. My PS3 slim is so much quieter than my 360.

That last thing wouldn't usually be a factor, but if both versions are going to be identical, then it does come down to those little things like the noise of the console, etc. But yeah, the biggest reason is the free online. I cancelled my Xbox LIVE subscription a month or so ago. I'd need to re-subscribe to Gold if I got the 360 version of MW2. Why bother when I can just get it on PS3?

Multi-platform gaming allows one these sorts of choices. I just need a Wii and Windows on my computer, and I'm sorted for current-gen gaming!

I've been playing a lot of Wipeout HD recently, Okami on the PS2 and Dragon Quest Monsters Joker on DS. Three games I've had for a while and not really played much.

I haven't bought many games recently, so I thought I'd catch up with the games I've got that for one reason or another I'd not fully played.

I'm Hoping to get Dementium II for DS, Avatar for Wii and Heavy Rain & God of War 3 for PS3 when they come out early next year. I should have some money by then!

Everyone's raving about that Heavy Rain. I've watched the videos and that, I don't really see what all the fuss is about.

Currently playing:
- Pokémon Platinum (STILL working on filling that pokédex. )
- PGR3 (Got this for £3 a little while ago. My first realistic racer, I suck at them. Good fun though).
- FFVII (Not touched this in a couple of months, need to get back into it).

I would say Modern Warfare 2 but my bro is getting it on the 360 and my live account ran out ages ago. I'm not paying £40 for another year subscription. With that money I could just buy it on the PS3 instead. =P

I might be wrong though. *crosses fingers*

How you doing in Dragon Age? I'm loving the banter, just makes me think of Baldurs Gate. Alistair is so cheesy yet lovable.

Just started again as a Human warrior for my proper playthrough, did all the origins stories though. Great fun.

Next will be Assassin's Creed 2, hopefully Ubi right their wrong. Day 1 nevertheless.

Currently playing the last chapter on F.E.A.R 2 and after that I will be playing some old Zelda games. I have a urge to play them but after my GC memory card got currepted I have to start all over again.
