Just got past the water temple, which was easy anyway and made way too easy by the markings.

Yea the markings made it way too easy. The temple was much quicker than the console version, had found myself going into the menu screen switching between boots a pain in the ass, now with the simple press you can switch between them so easily Smilie

Other than the easy swapping of boots, have they actually changed the Water Temple to make it easier? If they have - fail.

The only bit that makes the water temple hard is if you miss that one key, cause you'll spend hours trying to find it. Otherwise it's pretty easy xD

Physically its the same, the layout of the rooms etc remains unchanged. Only thing they have made it easier is guidelines across the temple, for instance the 3 water level markings clearly displayed. I think for new players it's helpful.

One thing I did notice is that when you play the melody to raise the water to the second level, the camera points to the room underneath the block, I can't remember if it was in the first, but it took me a while to notice the room was there on the N64.

On the spirit temple now Smilie.

It wasn't there on N64, I'm sure of this. There are a couple more hints like that over the game, but all very minor.

I like the new figurehead on the ship in the lower level of the shadow temple. Absolutely creepy and suits the mood of the temple much better Smilie

    Thought it wasn't.

Having finished the game, I could swear they made it easier in some places, Gohma and Gannondorf took far less hits + you could hit them more when they were stunned. Also Gannondorf seemed to be missing his second attack where he gathers up darkness with you having to shoot him with the light arrow while he concentrates.

On MQ now, going to take my sweet time with that and unlock absolutely everything.

Ganondorf has that attack where he gathers darkness.

mmmh didn't seem to me that they took less hits here? They didn't take a of of hits in the original either, especially if you did it with the Biggoron Sword

Nah, I didn't use the Biggoron sword, and with Gohma, I only stunned her twice, and the second time I stunned her she stayed down for about 6-8 hits, maybe it's just me.

I always do jump hits against bosses to finish them off faster so, I couldn't tell how many normal hits Gohma took me per stun Smilie, but even on N64 I only needed to stun her twice, I'm sure of that much.

Good to know that Nintendo UK are fast at sending stuff. I know from past experience that it's not the case in my home country though Smilie. I even had an occasion when I never got what I ordered from them. I complained via email, got answers that they were gonna look into it, and still never got what I traded my stars for. So I only traded my stars for Wii Points afterwards.

Hope it won't be the same for the Zelda CD Smilie

I'm not really getting my hopes up with getting the soundtrack soon. As I said to Mush on facebook, the last time I ordered something from the stars catalogue, the parcel took so long I forgot that I'd ordered it.
