Nintendo have confirmed the game via it's Japanese release calendar:

Original Story
It appears that Nintendo are due to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros. by releasing a special Wii version of what we know in the West as "Super Mario All-Stars".
The original collection was released on Super Famicom / Nintendo in the early 90's, and comprised of the following games; Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2 (USA), Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels (SMB2), and Super Mario Bros 3.
Various well known retail bloggers across Japan have leaked the information regarding the new collection, which is known in Japan as "Super Mario Special Pack". According to Game Jouhou which summarizes, the collection will come with a booklet titled "Super Mario History 1985 - 2010", this is said to recap 25 years of Mario's history and showcase an array of previously unseen development material. The game will also be come with a series soundtrack CD, which features music from the original game right through to Super Mario Galaxy 2.
The new collection is due to launch across Japan on October 21st priced at ¥2,500.
I suspect it will launch in the West early next year - March in NA and May in the EU, coinciding with the original release dates.
No official word from Nintendo.
