3DS Discussion Thread

No sign of mine yet (it was dispatched yesterday).

I found out it's Parcelforce delivering it though, so the it'll probably be here next year...

The order status of my screen protector and case has changed to being prepared. Which means it will be dispatched tomorrow. I'm actually considering removing my preorder for samurai warriors and shifting that to shop to which means (hopefully) it would dispatch today....

Edit: Just cancelled my amazon order game (it wasn't part of the deal anyway so it doesn't matter, and just moved it to shop to (and hey it was slightly cheaper anyway!) so hopefully I should get a dispatch message in the next 10 mins.

The dispatch estimate of my game says today. And when I talked to amazon about it they said the game and console were should be delivered by the 25th, but the case and protectors were from indigostarfish, so might not be.

People on amazon who paid for the expedited delivery still haven't been dispatched yet

That's probably because its being shipped with an external company over the royal mail.

Well shopto had the stuff in stock, so it should hit the same time tomorrow and if not, hey, Friday! Not too bothered, just want to take it in to uni with me tomorrow with me and would like something to play

You've just got to hope amazon is accurate with delivery estimates and we do get the console tomorrow. Although then I would only be able to piss about with AR.

I'm probably picking up Street Fighter on Friday, got my vouchers to spend ready.

There's a "Mass Street Pass" Event @ London's Kings Cross St Pancras Station soon after the Super Street 3D launch event at HMV Oxford Street. The event will run through till three in the afternoon the following day.

As I thought, Samurai Warriors has been Dispatched by ShopTo.net Good thinking on my part I'll get my console and game on the same day!

Getting really excited now!

Yeah, same. I'm really glad I shifted the order now! You can't though can you because it was part of the bundle :/

Well, like Marzy, I too have been persuaded to jump on the pre order band wagon.

I ordered the bundle on Amazon with Rayman DS. The game hasn't yet been dispatched, but the Blue 3DS, Case and Protector all got dispatched early today so I should hopefully get them tomorrow.

The reason I've caved in and bought one? The lower pre-order prices were a nice incentive plus, I got a new job, I'm due a nice amount of tax back AND after a crappy start to the year, I think I deserve to treat myself.

I'm not getting it at launch still, and I won't until I actually have the money... But I'm sure by the time I'll get one the choice of games will be greater.

Just cancelled my order for SF, I'm going to the launch event tomorrow night instead. I want a signed copy of the game.

Just what I expected also, and I'm not saying that in a joking manner, I'm doing practically the same. There are a few things I'm not happy with, but I knew from the start there's little point to waiting.

Best to get caught up in it all. It's a another Nintendo handheld destined to have great games in it's lifetime. When another model comes along I'll offload this one, if the new model improves upon what I dislike now.

Yeah. I'll also be able to finally do some DS online stuff like Pokemon trades. I have the DSPhat which used WEP for security, not WPA, so I've never been able to go online with it

Unfortunately, I'll be at work tomorrow morning. I have a feeling the day is going to go slowly as I'll want to be getting home at the end of my shift.
