And they could have done all those and just kept the wifi connection name...I think their rebranding their network so to distance them selves from the crappines of Wifi connection.

Not that there's a problem with that regardless of their reasons for rebranding? New marketing seems as good a reason as any to change its name.
And regardless of if it were a completely new system or not they could have continued calling it WFC if they wanted to.

All that matters to me is that it sounds like it'll have some nice improvements!

Yeah i don't have any problem with them changing it, I actually think it's good because they probably want to highlight that it's a much better service now.

I know this is completely random & unrelated other than it's about a 3DS game, but I read the most HILARIOUS comments I've read in awhile on gamefaqs.com here's the link.

http://m.gamefaqs.com/boards/997778-resident-evil-revelations/61714507?page=1

It's on the 2nd page of posts & there are a few remarks there that literally made me laugh so hard I threw up!!

Ahh fuck Namco
stop making me want to buy your games..

I'm going to try and avoid getting this since I've already pre-ordered it on 360 but if Link's in it it'll be hard to avoid.. x-x

You can bet Link will be in it, they need a strong selling point. The Gamecube version of SC2 sold really well thanks to Link's inclusion, not overtaking the PS2 version in global sales, but it wasn't too far behind, despite the much smaller user base.

If Link was to reappear in it then I'd probably get it mainly because Link was my main in SC2 Smilie

Awwwwww...common guys what'd you think of my link...?

But yeah great to hear, hopefully they'll port the vita Mortal Kombat to the 3DS as well as Ultimate MvsC3 & Street Fighter X Tekken.

Awesome, if SCV made its way to the 3DS, I would probably get it. Hopefully Link makes an appearance again too.

Kid Icarus: Uprising - Nintendo Power Details

- Ground locations include a medieval castle and an interstellar space-pirate vessel
- Fight with projectile attacks
- Can hide behind pillars/rubble
- Close-range melee combos
- Dash attacks
- Can take your time to explore in these sections
- Lots of hidden treasures
- Secret life-restoring hot springs
- “levels are frenetically paced and full of surprises”
- Sakurai calls this “escalating the situation”; piling action on top of action to keep players off balance and engaged
- Vehicle example: Exo Tank
- Grinding gameplay made possible by Palutena’s magical rails
- There are times in which NPCs appear abruptly to fight by your side
- Recurring villains like Dark Pit appear from time to time
- Constant stream of dialogue to give players a better idea of what’s going on
- Dialogue is usually between Pit and Palutena or Palutena and the villain at the moment
- Dialogue “works like a charm” because of “clever writing and strong performances”
- “necessary plot explanations and strategy tips are buried deep within a stream of smart, self-aware banter”
- There’s a moment in the game in which Pit finds an item from the first Kid Icarus and Palutena says that it’s less pixelated than she remembers
- A comrade-in-arms will express shock that Pit would be so reckless as to open treasure chests left in plain sight without suspecting a trap

Dialogue sounds like it'll be StarFox-esque in how the plot progresses alongside gameplay progress.
Basically I'm looking forward to it a lot! From what I've heard in the trailers Palutena has a REALLY cute voice.

I got an email telling me my RE:Revelations bundle was dispatched this afternoon. Hopefully I should recieve it Friday. If I get it later, I don't really mind. xD It was a steal at £30, so I don't mind waiting a couple of extra days if I have to.

OMG, so much more awesome information about Animal Crossing coming from a couple of ONM scans. If you're even remotely interested in the game, they're well worth checking out. I'll put them in spoilers since they're pretty big.

Summary with the most notable things:

- You're the mayor of your town and have your own assistent to help you out
- Can change any aspect of your house, down to the design of the mailbox or the colour of the fence
- Much more themed furniture, like a ton of Zelda-themed stuff.
- Furniture can be redesigned and recoloured by an upholsterer
- Seperate top and bottom clothing, allowing you to even wear a T-shirt and a skirt if you so wish
- Your city consists of four big areas: The usual village which is much larger than before, a seperate bigger beach area (plus an island not far from it), a large shopping mall with loads of shops, and model homes. These are homes designed to provide you with inspiration for your own designs. Plus, since the game supports StreetPass, when you pass someone with a save file for Animal Crossing 3DS, their house is added to this section. Also, Tom Nook will be taking care of that section, since having his own shop in the village would probably face heavy competition from the shops in the mall.

This is just scratching the surface and Nintendo is still being very secretive about this game but I'm still so excited just from these few new details. Smilie Can't wait for some details on the online features.

If you look closely you can see a small port on the beach, and what appears to be a boat travelling to the other island. Maybe this is how you get to your friend's towns in this one, instead of going through the town gate. Who knows?

There could also be a whole new area waiting to be explored, and maybe you are able to start a village on the other island as well. (Seems to good to be true, but yeah) I reckon the whole boat thing is how you get to/from other islands/villages. (By "other" I mean the ones owned by your friends) What do you guys think?

Just pre-ordered at Game-Mania, Dutch local thing. They text you as soon as they have their stocks in so you can pick up the game from their closest store. Pretty awesome.

The limited edition 3D Box is mighty swish, btw <3

Too bad I won't get to play it much today, mum's birthday Smilie

No, the 3D-box is a pre-order bonus. The one in the bundle was a regular box, and then I got the 3D one EXTRA. So I have 2 boxes. And a poster, I believe.

All pre-order bonuses. Fuck yeah.

EDIT: Yup, poster.

And I got all o' this for €28,95 / £24,26 / $38,05. Awwwyeah.
