Haha. Ooo, that's a big statement to make, my friend. I'm biased too, so I don't think any RPG will beat FF, but I bet it'd be damn close. I'd like to give it a whirl some day, but right now all sorts going on - new job, training out of the country, Uncharted 3 then Zelda, and other stuff. Just no time, man! If I was in school I could easily get in on it. Thanks for trying to push me into it though :] I'm glad you've enjoyed it so much.

@ Azuardo - Well I am 100% sure you will agree with me when you play Xenoblade. It blows it out of the water and then nukes FF .. then again It's already been voted as one of the best games ever made (3rd on the list according to metacritic).

I thought Skies of Arcadia was better than FF8..

Gonna be importing this from GAME hopefully this year and playing it stateside, I hate Nintendo for not bring this and the Last Story. Thank God I can hack my wii and make this possible for me though.

We haven't heard about Sherwiinator lately. I was looking forward to his support for completing the affinity chart...

In reference to the IGN article think it is a valid point though that Nintendo should perhaps listen to some fans when it comes to localising or in this case localizing games from other regions to prevent piracy

Companies are notorious for it and it really bugs me that they don't do it.

There are so many games that just don't get released when they can. If it had been localised with Europe then why the hell not for the North American market? Especially as it would have French and Spanish on there as well. It would probably be more suitable for the Canadians and Latin America's anyway!

This can be said for certain North American games not making it to Europe. It could still come to the British , it only needs English to be here and we are not even part of Europe anymore

Ah you got one that I missed in Alcamoth apparently, which I suppose is the one I was told I missed on another forum where I posted my own affinity chart.

Anyway, it confirms that I was lacking one there. If I had time, I'd go back and continue my second playthrough, but I can't right now. Hopefully someday .

@Kafei: If you still need more pictures of affinity charts, I could take one of mine. I'm probably only missing a few links, so it might be of some use to you.

Ah that'd sure be very helpful if you would . Few people share theirs online or so it would seem :/. I'd liek to be able to post the most complete one possible someday XD.

Just curious, have you killed all the optional Lvl 100+ bosses?

Thanks for that Link . Don't worry about quality, it's enough to locate and identify the different links, as long as your own chart displayed next to it to compare which ones you already have and which ones you don't.

I beat a couple of those bosses, but if I recall correctly, there were a couple left. I recall a certain rabbit or something like that, which was over lvl 100 which I was supposed to go kill, but I didn't. In Satorl Marsh maybe, but that was back in September, so my memory is as foggy as those marshes right now XD.

EDIT : I can already see you have the 3 links that I already knew I was missing, between two nopons and two high entians in the lower right corner.

And it seems you went for a different choice by matching a different of the two twin high entian sisters to a guy at colony 6.

Ah and apparently you matched the girl at colony 9 with the researcher instead of the soldier, just like me .

EDIT 2 : You missed two nopons in the lower left corner. Maybe you missed certain sidequests by not talking to those (don't think you missed anything intersting though)

I knew I missed a few Nopons when looking at the chart, it's just so easy to miss them. I had to search for quite a while to fill up the affinity chart to get 5* in Central Bionis. Was amazed at how many new Nopons I found.

About the optional bosses...

IIRC, there are four of them, a deadly rabbit, a giant Mechon, some giant ice beast and a giant dragon. If you want a challenge in Xenoblade, I'd definitely fight them. The Lvl120 dragon in particular is going to wipe the floor with your party if you aren't properly prepared. Took me 20 minutes to kill him with a relatively safe setup, although I got unlucky on my first try after I got him to 10%...It really takes forever to kill him, but it's needed to complete the Collectopaedia, which is totally not worth the effort for the most part. The achievement you get for it is pretty amusing though.

Well this article was a response to another article (on another website) doing just that

Somthing about Xenoblade wanted to make him punch kittens because it was so good but so ugly or somthing.

One of the greatest games ever. I'm 30 hours in and losing sleep playing this addicting, fantastic game!

I don't think either were trolling. I felt the same way, the games obvious shortcomings are annoying to some.
