I want to opt out of the hype-train to avoid spoilers but that's easier said than done. Smilie

These new trailers really look incredible. You have to properly see Link walking around these environments to fully appreciated the design and style of the game. I am impressed. Felt kind of iffy about it until now.

Always planned to sell my Wii but never got round to it, now it's hardly worth anything there's no chance I'm flogging it with this around the corner. Last big Ninty hurrah on Wii?

The first Skyward Sword review is in and it's from ONM. They gave it a score of 98%.

ONM said that The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword is the "best Zelda game ever made." and it's is also ONM's highest rated Wii game, beating Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess (lol, Twilight Princess?), which all received 97% review scores.

Surely that's worth a star?

I ve been on a Zelda back out .... having played Xenoblade I really hope, but can't see this zelda matching or surpassing Xenoblade.

ONM gave Phantom Hourglass 95% and said it was one of the best Zelda games since A Link to the Past. Smilie

I think the higher than high score was to gain hype for them considering they're the first to review it. Smilie

They gave OoT3D 98% too. As good as that game is, no way does it deserve such a score nowadays. ONM sadly, will always big up every big Nintendo release.

They're extremely harsh when it comes to scoring. They've only given a 10 score to thirteen games (14 including Skyward Sword) since the magazine launched in 1993.

Yeh, I knew they had a reputation for it, I was just wondering if it was still the case.
From what I remember a 5/10 from Edge was roughly equal to a 7/10 in most other mags! Smilie

Interestingly, NGamer are doing a two-part review and not giving it a final score until next months issue. Apparently they didn't think it was fair to score until they had explored everything the game has to offer.
