Bioware TV have released the following preview for Mass Effect 3's new Multiplayer Mode.

It actually sounds very cool, so cool I think it could heighten the experience of both MP and Singleplayer, which is seemingly what they're attempting to do with this.

I've got no problem with MP, but I do want them to lean more on the RPG side of things this time around, the last game was too light on RPG elements it bordered on being comical.

A new episode of Bioware Pulse, this one details a more dynamic Sheppard and the changes to animation and hit-detection.

Its starting to shape up nicely.

Ugh, want to play this series so bad, but only have a PS3 and poor PC. Why the hell have they only put ME2 on PS3 and not the first? I'd rather play from ME1 onwards.

I started playing the first one, then I took an arrow to the knee.

I'm sure I'll actually get round to playing it, and if I enjoy that and the second, I'll get ME3.

Man this is looking really good. I would like to get this for PC, but all my previous saves are on xbox, much as I would like to play them on PC, I don't have the cash/they aren't on sale any more Smilie

Still this looks epic. Can't wait.

Day one for me. The Mass Effect series is the most impressive accomplishment this generation, in my opinion.

Hated the first two Smilie I wonder if this will be able to grab my attention. Always liked the scifi setting.

I wouldn't think so. I can't see them making any dramatic changes to the gameplay. There will be tweaks, but the core gameplay will be the same. The story will continue, of course, but I don't see why you would like it more than before. The games are great, but not everyone thinks choosing conversation options are fun.

I didn't get into it until a year after the second was released. I'd had the first for a while but only played about 45mins of it and hadn't touched it after. I started to really get into it and I found it difficult....Because the time that I had stopped playing it I forgot I could level up my characters! Smilie

The story is brilliant, the gameplay is tight, and the locals are amazing. Can't wait for the third.

Oh no! It got an 8.5?!

What a terrible score, it must be so bad to get a score like that. They didn't give it their Editors Choice emblem either? Wow, this game must be the worst game to ever exist.

(Sarcastic post)

I've never much cared for Detructoid. I feel they sometimes use their reviews to cause sensation and generate attention for themselves. They could give Mass Effect 3 a "0" and it wouldn't change my pre-order.

I wouldn't call getting an 8.5 "destroyed" though. That's a fairly solid score.

edit: I know you were being sarcastic, Marz. My post was in response to the other guy. Smilie

Mass Effect 2 got a 10 on Destructoid, and the recent Mass Effect 3 reviewer, Conrad Zimmerman, gave Red Dead Redemption a 9. So your idiotic presumption that it is a hit-based site is pretty much baseless and asinine.

You have been warned.

I've had my copy preordered from shopto for quite a while now and I can't wait to play it, although I'll prolly be playing Street Fighter X Tekken moreso Smilie

I actually prefer Dtoid over IGN in terms of Reviews. DToid feels more like a community of like minded people who are there for the interest (Jim Sterling for example). The reviews are often more solid too. IGN is Murdoch group so I take everything with a pinch of salt these days.

Also, Dtoid are generally more honest with their scores. I don't see how an 8.5 is 'destroyed either' that's bloody good. It means they haven't destroyed the series and that its still as brilliant as ever.

I'll be getting ME, but the optional day one DLC (not saying spoilers here) is a right kick in the teeth considering what it is.

Easy now. There's no need to start your stay here calling my "presumptions" idiotic. That's not tolerated here.

I don't think that's really saying much though...

Yeah, I read about that. It should have been free for the first few weeks as a bonus for people paying full-price at launch. Otherwise it just comes across as milking the franchise for all its worth.

People who are visiting IGN are like wrestling fans. They know its fake, but they are only for the hanging out with their bunch , namely low-lifes and scums, because you can't find such place anywhere else in the society, where such despicable maggots can feel at home.

Getting an 8.5 is considered "destroyed"?..... holy shitSmilie

btw what does the Kinect stuff do in the game?

( Edited 06.03.2012 21:40 by Mr James2t3 )

I'm playing it RIGHT NOW and its AWESOME.

(If you have it on PC you can unlock it early Smilie)

Want so bad but have to wait!

It kills me, but I don't think I'll be able to pick this up until around May. I've school keeping me busy. Besides, my 360 recently died, so I've got to gather the money to repair it before I try to buy a new game. Smilie

It's my understanding that you can use the Kinect's microphone to yell voice commands in combat. No goofy gestures or dancing around, just voice recognition.

I'm using a mouse/keyboard ~ Much easier.

Played the first two missions. So far, so good! Really like how they're opening things.
