Whilst I did enjy Uncharted 3, I enjoyed 2 so much more, and I really can't put my finger on exactly why this is. I immediately replayed 2 after finishing it, but 3 isn't drawing me back to it in the same way.

Not enough Chloe in Uncharted 3, that's why.

Yeah, I think the main game is better in UC2. Though the multiplayer is vastly-improved in UC3. Therefore, UC3 has more lasting appeal. UC3 does also have an awesome main campaign, it's just not as jaw-dropping as UC2 was when we first played it. That one was a generational-leap. UC3 just improved the gameplay systems. The tech is largely the same as UC2.

I fancy some rounds of UC3 online this weekend. Does anyone else on here fancy a get-together for some co-op etc? Even if you're shit, doesn't matter -- will just be for a laugh. I'm hardly the ace I used to be on UC2 in this one, either, but I enjoy playing for fun. Would be great to get some people together.

I've been playing U3 every other night for a week or so with some friends. Most likely we'll be on tomorrow... Today? Oh well, Saturday the 14th. (Dunno what to call it because it's 3 in the morning here and I just got off my shift! Ha ha!)

We will most likely start between 9 and 10 P.M. tomorrow because that's when a buddy of ours in Japan is able to log on and play with us. Not sure what time that is for you, but we could start earlier if need be, I'm sure.

Would be sweet if you could join us. We play for shits and giggles and lately have been playing custom rounds of rockets only. (We miss that particular lab.)

An international edition of online Drakes! Smilie Hope this works out. Kinda excited.

lol, US is always 5 to 8 hours behind us, so that would mean 10pm for you is gonna be anywhere from 3am to 6am for me! Kinda impossible for me to get a match going at that time.

You not available in the afternoon/evenings? I stay up late, but beyond 3am would be killing me. Plus if any other C3ers wanna play, I doubt they'd be willing to go later than midnight ideally.

I get off work around 5 tomorrow and can start shortly after then. I know that's still later, but would that work any better?

ModeratorStaff Member

You're talking Sunday now, yeah? It would be better for me, though, yeah. But if you see me on at any time, just send a message anyway, even if I'm on another game.

Sorry, still mean Saturday. I work a day shift until 5 P.M. on saturday. Sunday afternoon may work though... oh well, we'll figure it out. lol.

ModeratorStaff Member

haha, you haven't gone to bed yet? So 'tomorrow' is still Saturday, I get you lol

Yeah, as long as we're both online at some point it should be fine. Sweet!

I'm practically nocturnal. It's been an ongoing joke between me and my friends now for a long time.
Oddly enough, I actually used to listen to you guys' BBC drive time morning radio online before I'd go to sleep just for kicks. EVERY single time I'd hear the Eagle's Hotel California. Ha ha! Still to this day I don't understand why they played that. I just think to myself, "You're the friken' UK! You have plenty of amazing music! Why the random American rock band!?"
(Going to stop delirious rambling now and hit the hay. Good night!... Morning!... whatever!)

Ahh well I rarely go to bed before midnight myself, yet I always tell others it's late if they stay past that time lol.

You mean the Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1? Ha, I have that on practically every morning on the way to and in work.

Whatever your thoughts on F2P, no reason for anyone with a PS3 not to check out the MP of Uncharted now that it's gone free. Out now in US, tomorrow for Europe. I recently started playing again and had a right blast, but began to get mighty pissed at the amount of pros on there kicking my ass. But with a lot of newbies arriving over the coming week I'm gonna be playing a bit more. If anyone wants a match etc, give me a shout.
