With the year slowly coming to a close I thought i'd post up the list of my pickups of 2011. Games and blu rays all in no particular order because I honestly can't remember when I got most of them.

Borderlands Game of the Year (already own the standard but wanted DLC and its actually cheaper doing it this way. Gave old copy to my sister.

LA Noire (received for free my Aunt works for Rockstar)
Gears of War 3 (no longer own - traded in)
Splinter Cell Double Agent (owned on release but sold long ago and always wanted it again.)

All on Mac via steam or app store. Sucks though the amount of games available to Mac users, definitely going to bootcamp Windows 7 when I get a new MacBook Pro next year.


Blu Ray

My blu ray collection is expanding nicely, hope to keep it up in 2012. First things i'd get are probably Arrietty and Whisper of the Heart which both come out here in the UK 9th January.

Nice topic! I ended up buying more than I realised this year. Not all were new releases; many were games that came out the previous year and dropped in price. There's not too many games I buy at launch nowadays. Only launch games I got were Uncharted 3, Zelda: SS and Mario Kart 7. I don't think I paid more than £15 for any of the others, except for the £80 pre-order of FFXIII-2. I'm gonna keep a track of everything I buy in 2012 now, too.
