Unless I saw the trailer wrong it looks like he has more Uncharted style gameplay maybe? That should be fun.

Alsoo that info kind of implies the fear element will return in a bigger way? Unless it's just a useless tagline like RE5's "fear you can't forget".

I either think he's Hunk because he mentions something about being a mercenary before, or it's Alex Wesker which would explain his superhuman abilities. Either way Capcom have hyped me up for this game

Yeah man, recognised Troy's voice straight away. Same as when I watched the English Catherine trailer for the first time. Makes any game ten times better ;D Just need more Ali Hillis now... <3

Alex Wesker wouldn't make sense, why would he even consider helping the world?

I dunno, haven't read into it much. Just saying what I've seen others saying. Some relate his fighting style to the way Wesker fights in RE4/5 etc.

They're thinking Alex Wesker too. And I didn't even notice Ash first time watching the trailer, there was so much going on. I'm glad she's back though.

Would love to see more Rebecca, Claire and Billy Coen tbh, but you can't have 'em all! Who knows, they might appear, but I'm more than content with Leon, Chris and Ash.

Looks great, I hope they're some Leon+Chris missions. I doubt they'll be any though. XP

Leon looks kinda different so it could be her, CAPCOM seem to want to update the look of all the characters, probably to try and to appeal to a more western audiance.

Yeah I was thinking it was Ashley too, but those Sherry Burkin comments are entirely possible, given the fact that it was 1998...she was 10 or so then IF it takes place in modern day she'd be in her 20's so it could very well be Sherry.

I just hate how they changed Leon's voice actor again!! Companies use Sasuke & Zabuza/Spike's WAAAAAY too much & almost every character they do sounds the same. Mark Hammel they are not.

They look older because it's 4 years after RE4, so they would look different.

Well trust me it's not, go listen to sound bites of RE4, then watch some episodes of Naruto THEN listen to the part where he says "stay where you are....Mr. President!!" It's a different guy I know it is.

Wow, you might be right. Just looked Leon up on Wiki and he has a new voice actor in Operation Raccoon City. Honestly though, I didn't think he sounded much different in the RE6 trailer, so well done to them for finding someone similar. There must be reasons for switching him.

Well considering I can't really recall the names of the other animes he is in & I don't know if Azu has the .hack//SIGN G.U. games or not since he plays Haseo in that video game trilogy as well.

I don't, but I believe you anyway, since Leon does have a new actor in ORC. You've got better ears than me to spot that though! I thought he sounded pretty much like his RE4 one. A touch different perhaps, but nothing to make me think it's a new VA.

I'm loving this new info on RE6 btw. Can not wait to play this. It should come out around the same time as the US for us, so I'm hoping I can get a good price for it around Christmas.

No worries, the teller for me was his tone, true Leon had a deep voice in RE4, but this one doesn't sound as gruff as he was in 4. My guess for the change to this guy is either popularity or price...with the former being a VEEERRY bad reason to use someone...unless they can alter their voice as well as Mark Hammel can.

HELL YEAH ASHLEY.

And, Dave Wittenburg is a really brilliant VA so I wouldn't worry about Leon's voice.. even if I will miss his RE4 VA.
I mostly just hope he still has cheesy one-liners. I loVED those ok.

People seem to think that the new Nemesis is Steve Burnside's revived and mutated self due to the hair and trousers, which is viable.

Yeah Dave Wittenburg does a very good Leon cause I can only tell a slight difference between him and he's previous VA. Still would prefer his old VA but I'm just glad he doesent sound completely different xD

I can also see their being some kinda online versus with the 2-8 player comment and possibly a 6 player mercenaries. If that's the case then that'd be amazing!

Even if the voice actor is tallented with using believable inflection & tones to fit the situation it STILL ruins the illusion of a real character if my mind is drawn back to his other work that he sounds very similar to!! Case in point Sasuke from Naruto, Haseo from .hack//G.U. & even Richard from RE Umbrella Chronicles.

Same with the VA who did Spike in Cowboy Beebop, he sounds just like Onizuka in GTO & his Zabuza sounds just like Jack from MADWORLD. Sorry but there are onpy a handful of VAs who, even though they sound similar to previous rolls, have such a pleasant tone in their voice that I just don't care...& those 2 guys aren't one of them.

Well 4 years is hardly enough time to really change unless your going through puberty. If it was 10 or 15 years maybe.

I mean just look at what they did to chris from Resident Evil 1 remake to Resident Evil5!
