Nah, I think some1 just put that randomly together.... what-s that guy from that tv series -One Piece- doing in the bottom right corner (guy with the hat)?

Hmm, something smells fishy, and it ain't my fish supper!
I would like to see more RPGs on the 'cube though.
{Guild}Ohmdal: But how did you get the poo inside of the box when the goat was sleeping on top of it?
{Guild}Ohmdal: oops wrong chat

And wouldn't we all, eh? Yup, a turn-based final fantasy would be just the ticket, but that add just looks wrong somehow...

I *think* they only used past characters to illustrate the announcement. On sites you can purely type out that a future game is coming, end of, but in magazines and publications it would look a little dull with pure text - so I think that it's just used to show that there's a strong posssibility of a new FF title for the GC.

Ah, so just the ol' cut and paste treatment then?

It actually says at the bottom:
"Kingdom Hearts 2 - PS2 - GCN
Final Fantasy: Advent Children - DVD"
It could well be that Square Enix is planning on bringing KH2 to the GC as well as the PS2, which would make sense considering the excellent-looking KH: Chain of Memories that's coming out on the GBA...which I have just previewed, by the way:

Apparently this is the full translation, courtesy of affiliate C-E:
large purple thing: "Next Issue"
large blue thing: "Exclusive News"
pink: "Final Fantasy Guilty Wing! Fully Loaded Information"
red/white text: "Awesome!"
text on character's back: "Continue"
text at bottom: "Kingdom Hearts PS2 - GCN Final Fantasy A.C- DVD"
A little confusing, who knows what E3 shall hold!

E3 is almost always full of surprises. Hopefully this year Nintendo's sleeves shall have more stuff waiting to slip out. Mind you, things shown before, at, and after E3 sometimes have no bearing on what the game will be like when it's finished.

gamecube exclusive final fantasy eh?, lets hope they decide to do a more "traditional" style, or at least make it so you don't have to spend loads to play it

Wasn't last year, man that sucked!

Sweet. KH2 on GameCube would be awsome!

Meh, it looks VERY dodgy to me! :alien:

Even I could of made that pic, and its the dude from One Piece Treasure...something

Yeah, i could probably make one better than that!

Just heard its all false
Has it been confirmed as fake? Who by? I've not been able to read around about it, so don't know...

Well, it's pretty obvious.

Ok...Back to Final Fantasy Guilty Wing
BREAKING:
Here is a report from Cube-Europe
Last week, rumours hit the internet about a new Final Fantasy game for the Gamecube after a Japanese magazine published concept art from a game called "Final Fantasy: Guilty Wing" said to be in development by Square-Enix. The aforementioned rumours were then said to be false by a number of sites and publications......but it seems they were wrong! This months issue of V-Jump magazine has published art from the game under the same name and confirms that this game is currently in development!
No further details are available on the title at this time, and we would hope that mre information will be released closer to E3. However, apparently it states in the magazine that the game, which will be exclusive to Gamecube, will possibly be set in the Final Fantasy VII universe -which many fans believe represents the epitome of Final Fantasy. Will this be in the mould of a fully fledged Final Fantasy game? Or will it break away and try something new like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles? If the not-so-good sales of the above are anything to go by, we can only hope that the Cube will soon have its' very own classic Final Fantasy game!
Wow this could be incredible!

'Not so good sales' of Crystal Chronicles? I don't think so...Simple ratios, my dear friends at Cube Europe. If FF: CC can sell close to 500,000 on the GC and FFX-2 sells about 2 million on the PS2, that doesn't mean the GC version has flopped. Far from it! If anything the GC version has performed extremely well in comparison considering the userbases of each system...
People always seem to forget that!

Anyway, this looks like the rumours of an amalgamation of FFVII, VIII and IX might turn out to be true. Set in the FFVII universe, with elements of VIII and IX thrown into the mix. Heaven!!

I'm still holding out for Kingdom Hearts 2 coming to the GC as well...
*crosses fingers*

ahhhhhh holy shit
these rumors are nasty. I was gutted when they said it wasnt true after the claims of a FF based in the FF8 or FF7 universe but its true again!!!!! yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
. Hopefully it will stay that way
I'm still holding out for Kingdom Hearts 2 coming to the GC as well...
I would also love for KH2 to come to the cube although i know my little bro is getting it for the PS2 it would be nice for it to be on the cube aswell
< Edited by Blade2t3 on 2004/3/24 21:30 >

Well with KH on the GBA you never know, but then again its unlikely.
