WayForward's rare platforming classic, Shantae (GBC), is on it's way soon to the 3DS ehop, how soon though is uncertain at this point. WayForward are currently waiting to hear back from the ESRB, after they do it will be up to Nintendo to decide when it hits the eShop in various regions. The game was originally published by Capcom, as a result all branding pertaining to this connection will be removed in the eShop version.

According to WayForward's Matt Bozon, the company are currently deciding the future of the series. In 2010 the company released Shantae: Risky's Revenge on DSiWare to critical acclaim.

A fiver or less and they've got a sale. Would like to try the sequel on DSiWare but a tenner is just too much.

Yea, it should be priced competitively alongside Rayman. It will sell very well, given the carts rarity and cost, I hope they don't milk it, it won't look good. Risky's Revenge is worth it's price, it's a rich platformer, a labour of love.

Well you're gonna have to pry open your wallet Phoenixus because it's worth EVERY penny trust me. It's the smoothest, most robust original DSiWare title you can download. I sure hope they do another digital sequel since the first (errrr second) one leaves it open for more!!

I'd select the sequel a my favourite title, if my 3DS could recognise it. I don't have a single bad word to say about it, it's just oozes quality. Check out it's metacritic when you have enough money loaded to splash on it.

£10.40, annoyingly.

Sweet so they've got the rating for it, hopefully it comes out this fall.
