Has anyone played it? Worth getting?
Can you compare the play style to anything? I saw it as a type of action game along the lines of Devil May Cry and Kingdom Hearts.

Worth getting for:
- gorgeous steampunk graphics
- hair physics
- terrific British accents
- twisted, dark, random, funny take on the Alice storyline
- original Alice is included as a download
Downsides:
- levels feel like they drag on too long
- hack 'n slash and platforming can get repetitive
Thank you for making this topic. I strongly praise this game any opportunity I get. It's what I firmly believe the next Zelda should look like. It's one of those that, while the levels do drag on and things get tedious, it's absolutely worth playing for its art style and fantastic twisted plot. If you know to expect a bit of tedium, you'll end up loving everything else about it. I bagged it for £9.99 which was frankly worth every penny, but I see it going for over £15 now.
As for games it's similar to - I guess you could relate it to DMC and KH for its actiony, slash at enemies gameplay. It's very much a platformer, with some random 2D side scrolling levels that pop up on the odd occasion. Somewhat like 3D Zelda, too, with the sword swiping etc.
Cannot get enough of Alice's hair and pretty dresses. I love Victorian dresses as it is. What she wears in this game is gorgeous.

That shots look amazing. Although, I remember watching my friend play it on Saturday and all I could think was "Is that it?" in terms of graphics.

No, but we've got the Teapot.
I forgot to buy it this past Christmas. I'll get it on Steam soonish. I like American McGee.
