Oh! I started The Legend of Zelda (AGB NES Classic) this morning! Smilie I'm drawing a map and everything. This time I will finally finish it. Smilie

Edit: Is there any way to save beside killing yourself?

Just finished Darksiders II (PC) main questline Smilie Was amazing. Got a load of side quests to finish up now.

I think for the rest of the month I'll be playing Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition (PC)

Possibly some Sleeping Dogs (PC)(if/when I buy it) and I kinda want to get through Borderlands before the second one comes out. But I don't have as much time as I'd like and I'm sure Dark Souls will take up a large chunk (around 50 hours to beat I think), depending on how frustrated I get with it.

Hit Start & Select at the same time, if memory serves correct.

I've actually had a rather productive month for once. Beat Heavy Rain, Heavenly Sword and God of War in the last week or so.

Just did some Portal 2 trophies today, but there's a ton of co-op ones I can't get. Anyone here got it on PS3? It's easily one of the games of the gen.

Apologies to Duggler with Uncharted 3. I didn't believe the region locking update when I read it, but wow, that's a terrible decision, and has really put me off playing now. I am all for optional region locking if it means players get to choose who they fight against to avoid lag/hackers, but to just force on us like this is poor. I was actually thinking of going back to Uncharted 2, but don't know if they've done the same thing there, plus I don't think you have it, Duggler.

Unless that's an exclusive feature of the GBA version (which I never played), I don't think that's correct. All the versions I played, you had to die in order to permanently save your progress (except for the 3DS VC version anyway, but save states don't really count).

Yeah, Start + Select doesn't work, it was the 3rd thing I tried. I guess there is no other way to save...

It's weird because I think I see the speed-runner do it in a video I have. He saves some time by saving and then starting at the beginning again.

Anyway, I've completed 4 dungeons. Smilie I found another 3, still looking for nr. 6. (No spoilers please!)
Oh, I tried dungeon 5 but I think I need the flute for the boss... nothing damages him.
Work in progress. Smilie

Hmm, I read somewhere they pressed Start, then Select twice? But I dunno, it's been so long. Can't test it myself atm either.

I got it!! After pressing start, you press Up + Select.

I randomly tried stuff and this came out. If only I had known... now I have 24 deaths on my save file. -_-

You should be able to do a lot of the co-op stuff yourself. Not loosing a cube would take a bit of work and you do need someone for that. It's been so long since I 1000G'd that though :/

Don't apologize. It's not your fault. Hopefully they will patch their patch or something of that nature and give us more options in the future.
As for U2, you are correct, I do not own it. However, I am currently living in apartment for school with a few other videogame obsessed guys And have access to a copy. As well as access to a copy of portal 2! I actually beat portal 2 last summer and could never play the co-op because nobody I knew had it at the time. If you are interested in a game, just let me know.

P.S. Please, somebody if you are reading this, give the U3 region-lock-patch-thing some press. They region lock Persona arena out of the box and are honest about it, but the biggest PS3 exclusive release of last year quietly eliminates a feature post release through a patch and not even so much as a short blurb from Kotaku? Usually I feel they do anything for hits.

Ohh, didn't know you could do any co-op stuff yourself. But yeah, Duggler, I'll see when I can get a chance online again, maybe the weekend as usual. Will see what I can do.
