Name That Tune Contest Episode VII

All the rules are below, as usual. There's no particular theme with this one - it's all just random music from games that have appeared on any Nintendo console. Please let me know if it's too hard or too easy, or just right. Or even if you have any ideas for future themes I could do. Any feedback is good feedback.

Okay, it does seem this one has been pretty tough for everybody, so I promise the next one will be much easier and more fun (it'll have a special theme!). But please do take part in this, guys. I want to bring a bit of fun to the forum and it takes a bit of time to make these, so please give it a shot. It's a bit of much-needed fun!!

The 25 tracks can be heard below. The majority of them should be loud and clear, but one or two may be on the quiet side. Apologies, but hopefully you can hear them alright.

I thought as much XD Since I've PMed loads of people, I should've made it a bit more appealing by making it easier lol. Ah well, next time!

Well, I put my thinking cap on, had a go and managed to guess eight which I think I got right. That was pretty tough

Any suggestions for the next one are welcome. A certain console might make things easier, e.g. GameCube only etc.

Oh man that was hard I think I only answered about half and even then a lot were probably off the mark.. oh well, it was good fun and my interest is piqued in a lot of the ones I couldn't put a finger on.

Haha, Sonic would be so awesome to do. I'd love to do it, but you just know that some people haven't even played a Sonic game before. Perhaps Zelda could work because most people here have played them. Or Mario. But I can just try to throw in obscure ones where possible.

I'm trying to think a little outside the box for other ideas too. Particular consoles is a nice and easy one. But also something like games where you only control a female, or something to that effect. Any other interesting ideas are welcome.

Wow, didn't expect to struggle with that so much!! I hardly guessed any... I'll listen again, chuck some random games in the blanks and PM it in anyway. XD

At least the positive about it is that you're all in the same boat. Everyone is finding it difficult, but it's really interesting to see which ones people are getting and who knows tunes others don't.

Sticking to a theme would help! I'll give it another few listens and see what I can come up with.

6 entries so far is good for this one, though! But still plenty more people I wanna hear from. Remember, in tie situations, whoever sent me theirs first wins. And there's no harm in trying. You still get a star for entering.

Yes it is. Everyone is in the same boat. If everyone thought the same, I wouldn't have had any entries :/ The more that take part the better. Makes me feel like it wasn't a waste of my time XD

I just tried but that was an horrendous entry, i quite like things like this but unfortunately i am not so clued up as i'd like to think! 

Maybe if it was console specific it might be easier, but maybe too easy for some!

Shoot, I think I recognized three. I'm going to listen to more over the weekend hopefully and give it a bit more thought.

Try to make it before Sunday, if possible, since I'll likely end this on that day.

Happy to receive quite a few entries for this, so I think PMing people has definitely helped. Hopefully with the next one as a Zelda theme it'll get even more people.

But where some of my regulars at? :/ SirLink? Marzy? You guys were always happy to play no matter how tough it was. You still gonna enter this, or any particular reason why not? Is it just too tough for you, and you'll be entering the Zelda one?

Some of them I know, but my brain won't work. ;_;

Thanks again for all the entries. This is the most I've had for a quiz before, despite this being the most difficult! Would love it if more people still entered before Sunday.

I've made it a bit easier for myself in editing these now and can piece them together pretty quickly, so I can hopefully try to make some more.

You all know the theme for the next one, but is there anything in particular people would like for the one after that? I think popular series could make things much easier. Metroid? Star Fox? Mario? Donkey Kong? Any other ideas?
