User Poll - Does Michael Pachter know what he is talking about?

Yes (just kidding)

I think it's about time that we have a thread here on Cubed3 that properly honors the man, the myth, the legend that is video game analyst Michael Pachter. When news programs, websites, and investors need insight into the video game industry, they turn to none other than Michael Pachter. During his time at Wedbush Securities he has proven himself to be an enlightened sage, releasing prediction after prediction that have proven to be so accurate and insightful it is as if the video game gods themselves have bestowed upon him a gift of precognition.**

So please, bring forth his proclamations and post them here. If they are of the past or present, please also bring forth any number of the bountiful articles that prove how his knowledge and wisdom is unparalled. If they are of the future, please also post them here so that we may bask in their glory and wait with bated breath until they inevitably come true.

**just like his predictions, these statements may be highly inaccurate.

Date: March 9, 2013
Prediction: PS4 and Xbox One games will cost $70 each, ten more than the current generation

Result: PS4 and Xbox One games will cost $60 each, same as the current generation.

Oddly enough, Pachter made this prediction after Sony had already stated $60 games.

Date: August 1, 2007
Prediction: A HD capable Wii would be released in 2009, then this prediction later changed to 2010. Claims it would be a more significant upgrade.

Result: No Wii HD ever came. Wii sales never shown to have suffered due to lack of HD. Developers said it likely wouldn't happen. Wii U was announced in 2011 and released in late 2012.

Result: Xbox One to cost $499 / PS4 to cost $399

Result: these machines dominated their rivals.
