Akklaim!

Ok,akklaim has gone bankrupt right?
if this is so,i know burnout franchise was brought by EA but wot about games like Extreme-g III?
wot is happening with their other games,an does this mean that there will no longer be games like extreme-g III?
please answer!!

No other acclaim games except burnout are planned.

Well, it's basically certain that no other games will be made that acclaim holds the copywrite to until the copywrite runs out.

Shame to see Acclaim go. I'm not too sure about the Extreme series, maybe the developers would try to find a different publisher for their games like Criterion did for Burnout. Seems unlikely though.

The title "juiced" which was to be published by Acclaim has been picked up by THQ so we'll still see that, although it wasn't developed by Acclaim.

yea,i really only a few of their games,but extreme was good,however could b improved lol.
so its a pity wot happened to them.

I'll be sad to see the Turok series go.

I won't, Turok has been going downhill since the second game. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion was just plain awful. Nice cut-scenes, but apart from that... And don't even get me started on Turok: Evolution

Turok Evolution was a great game, the reviewers were dissapointed but didnt say it was a bad game.

Shadow of oblivion wasnt great game but it was playable, and rage wars was great fun.

Akklaim no longer have anything to do with Burnout, so it isnt affected.

Juiced has been bought by another publisher (apart from the name Juiced i believe)

Other games will either be bought or scrapped, depending on whether the developer or Akklaim held the rights.

those ppl who say akklaim sucks r just dumb,they had some good games.

I think it's 'Acclaim'.

They sucked big time. Although Crazy Taxi had it's moments.

Crazy Taxi did have it's moments and i'm sorry to say it but none of Acclaim's games appealed to me.

When i played it, i thought it was ok but then i came back to it and realised that basically everything was 2D or pre-rendered. That was awful
