Dang! No-one has made a megathread yet? Shame on you all! Smilie

Meet! Arrange matches! Discuss! Talk about those disturbing 'Moist' Miiverse posts that keep popping up on my city walls as grafitti!

My full game impressions thus far;

Loving the game so far - very, very addictive! We need to do a C3 meet-up at somepoint, shame about the need to have 8 people!

Maybe even go on skype and record it like with MK8 Smilie

I wonder if they'll add in amiibo clothing like with MK8? Sucks that I can't play the extra content without the inkling ones. :/

Very much off-topic, but anyone with a Dark Chronicle avatar is even more awesome than first believed. Smilie

Cheers Smilie Absolutely love both Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle. Some of my all time favorite games.

The game is really great! I'm currently level 8 online and I've played the first world on single player and it was surprisingly fantastic! The boss was especially fun. It's great that it has been a success in the UK, and charted at 2.

I can't believe we're getting new weapons, a map and ranked battles tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the continuous stream of new content coming to the game.

Good stuff, I was wondering how it's performed!

Marzy is the master of the paintbrush!

I'm absolutely loving it! It's my new favourite weapon! Smilie

It's really fun to use, as well.

I'm not too keen on the Paintbrush but then I don't like the Roller either. Am averaging about 1300 points on matches I win now which I'm happy about.

The only thing I'm not liking is the stage rollout. Only 2 at a time is very limiting and gets very repetitive quickly on extended plays.

The single player levels are great fun and it would be nice to see some of the level gimmicks make their way into some multiplayer stages. Smilie

Spoiler here if you've not done the final boss.

This music is amazing!

Music is catchy, Marz!

Defo want to see:

Four player local split-screen against CPUs / two vs two
Single player training mode against CPUs in the multiplayer levels
Two player online co-operative (always on same team)

To get around the whole GamePad issue, they'd need to just map other team members to the face buttons, or something like that - so you could hold one of the shoulder triggers, then press a face button to jump to a team member.

Yeah, the credits music is also nice. Smilie

I'd love to just see some classic modes in there, too. It fantastic that they've taken an original approach, but at the same time it would still be cool to see your standard deathmatch added in, where it's about kills rather than turf painted. The way Splatoon works, it would still be a unique experience compared to other shooters because of the mechanics of the game (using your own paint for an advantage).

.

Defo! It would be a piece of cake for them to add it in! Even non-team driven approach, perhaps - might get a bit messy lol - each player just has a different coloured ink.

Oh and one of the later world's solo levels - that UFO one - is frustrating as fook. There's a playthrough video coming over the next few days where I get massively, well, angry. I really had to control myself not to swear lool.

What about 3v3v3 or even 4v4v4? They'd need to cook up some new maps, but it could be awesome. Oh the treachery of teaming up vs one team... only to backstab your ally before he backstabs you!

splatoon 2 with 4v4v4 and 12 man single player deathmath should be a nx launch title but i think next up for splatoon will be a new 3ds version. lovin this game played it almost everyday since i got it. theres a few things that need tweaking like being able to change your loadout in a game room, creating rooms, being able to pick perks rather than their random nature, there also needs to be imo an overall visable perk gage. great new ip

There's a new Splatfest going up soon!

Europe: Favourite Daytime Activity: Eating or Sleeping? (18/07 - 18:00 GMT) till (19/07 -18:00 GMT)

US:  Favourite Summer Activity: Roller Coasters or Water Slides? (17/07 - 9 PM PDT) till (18/07 - 9 PM PDT)

I'll be voting for eating, easy choice!

Eating. Water slides! (not eating water slides, however)
