Good Xbox games?

Does anyone know any good Xbox games (Platinum Hits, preferable). I owe my brother a Christmas present, and he'll be getting a new Xbox.
I was thinking of getting him Project Gotham Racing or the sequel.

He doesn't like RPGs, shooters, life sims, or complicated adventure games (the ones that feel like RPGs).
A racer, one-on-one fighter, or sports game would be good.
