True, that it would be the proper thing to do considering link is righty and it has the classical control HUD and GC disk but wii zelda is so much better on so many levels.

Does the game come as a gold disk?

Comment by LuigiGBA, on 17.12.2006 at 04:53

Wii controls are far superiour IMHO and yes I have played both. Personally it feels like a natural improvement for the series.

Comment by LuigiGBA, on 17.12.2006 at 04:52

Wii controls are far superiour IMHO and yes I have played both. A Link To The Past is my favourite zelda though. its pretty much the epitome for all modern zeldas any way.

get 3 special ma hoo ja mc watsits from dungeons

master sword

5 or so dungeons which involve going into the spooky dark worl place

a link to the past did it the best in 92.

Comment by Raff, on 16.12.2006 at 20:18

OoT was my first Zelda too, but I enjoyed LttP just as much, and that was on a bloooody emulator!

Comment by dartmonkey, on 16.12.2006 at 20:02

I haven't played anything pre-64bit other than Link's Awakening. Perhaps I should make the effort and pick up Link To The Past. 'Thing is, Ocarina was my first Zelda encounter and I have a theory that the installment you play first sets a permanent benchmark. You can't dip further back into the series for the ones you missed because each new game evolves to make the previous look a little cumbersome and unfulfilling. Link's Awakening had some lovely moments and a great story, but whilst playing I was often bored. "Ah wow, the hookshot! Again."

On topic, how you finding TP Fraz? I'm steering clear of the progress thread so sum it up for me in three words. And a kind of fruit.

Comment by Raff, on 16.12.2006 at 17:54

The original Zelda is rubbish. The second is utterly dire.

Comment by evilflame, on 16.12.2006 at 17:32

I have restarted it however on the windwaker + the zelda special collection lol, but even they aren't complete, i got bored of repeating things i'd done, and yes sir :(
