I keep getting DREs (disk read errors for all you goody goodies here) and loosing half hours worth of progress on my iffy NTSC copy. Perhaps I should make the effort and pick up <i>Link To The Past</i>. 'Thing is, <i>Ocarina</i> was my first Zelda encounter and I have a theory that the installment you play first sets a permanent benchmark. You can't dip further back into the series for the ones you missed because each new game evolves to make the previous look a little cumbersome and unfulfilling. <i>Link's Awakening</i> had some lovely moments and a great story, but whilst playing I was often bored.
