I wrapped the Wii itself in a tshirt and sloted that in in one side so it was nice and snug. Then put the controlls, av cable, sensor bar, psu all in the box. Put that in a medium sized rucksack, and managed to cram the games in there too. Its snug so you cant feel anythin shakin about so I suggest the shoe box :)

Comment by Modplan Man, on 25.12.2006 at 17:25

True that! I pulled my GC off the table on more than several occassions because the controller chord was too short, it hit the floor full-on, and nothing damaged, at all. Not even the outside!:-D[/quote]

Happened to me before, but my 4gamers memory card (bigger than a normal-official one, so it stuck out more, and was very soft) seemed like it took the brunt of the force - might work if I can get the plastic shell together properly (top half bent a bit, small white mark where it bent)

Comment by HUYI, on 25.12.2006 at 16:59

i tend not to buy the official console bags, any rucksack can do the job just as well.

Comment by Raff, on 25.12.2006 at 14:35

It muct suck not having a handle like the GC's.

Comment by The Strat Man, on 25.12.2006 at 13:19

I'm taking mine up to my cousins for new year. I'm taking quite a big bag anyway, I might just repack it in the box and put it ontop of all my clothes and stuff.

Certainly don't want to advertise the fact I'm carrying around a top of the range, in demand but out-of-stock Nintendo Wii by flashing an "official" bag on my travels. ;-)

Comment by Mason, on 25.12.2006 at 13:11

When I carried mine around last week I used a padded laptop case, then popped it inside my bag. Sorted!

Comment by jb, on 25.12.2006 at 12:48

I stuff mine in a similar sized bag to the Wii one, one of me old ones and it works okay - I guess the inside is bigger. Thank god the Wii's so darn tiny, imagine trying to carry the PS3 around, you'd need a camper's ruck sack!

Comment by Faust D. Nintendo consoles are indestructible. :-D( Edited on 25.12.2006 11:27 by Phil :: CSF )

Comment by Spydarlee, on 25.12.2006 at 12:25

Well that sucks.

I'm taking the Wii out into the big wide world in a little while, I was just planning on re-boxing it up and stuffing it in a rucksack I think.
