Joined almost five years ago. I used to go on a shitole called Super Mario Portal which was big on spriting. Met a guy called Muna on there who introduced me here.

Been on the internet since my dad got a new PC with Windows 95 in 1996 although all I remember from back then is the MSN homepage.

Don't think I really posted much on any particular forum before C3 although I remember a period of lengthy and hidiously uninformed rants on news posts on several now defunct nintendo news sites that sprang up as soon as the revolution started being announced.

Have to admit, I didn't really get onto the Internet scene until about 2004 when I started College. Was just getting used to using a PC back then, and found Cube-Europe; stayed there for a year (still pop up there from time to time :P), but decided I liked it here more, as there is more of a balance between news and forum discussion.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

I got on the internet regularly around 1999/2000 and just looked for the info I wanted, not really sticking to a paricular site. Then I found a small games site that I liked and signed up to it. I can't remember what the site was called now but it closed down. So I went on the hunt for somewhere else I could frequent and found C3 among a few other sites.

I liked it because it had the most frequently updated news and a forum that never seems so big you'd get lost in it. And it had regular people on it that don't just post random words or incomprehensible sentences or insults (which most games fora seem to degenerate in to).( Edited 12.10.2009 09:27 by Trepe )

I used to be on the old totalgames.net forum. On there I heard some fella was making a Nintendo website, I found a link and signed up. Member #44. 8)

Other than that I just used the Internet to find cheats or read about football.

Well, I think I got Internet around 2006 (very late, I know). The first website I created an account, was a Danish website with cheats and codes for games, and I got a few friends there, and I still got contact with them. At that time, I had no idea how to behave me on the Internet. So if I wrote a question etc. and noone asnwered after 5 minutes, I got mad and wrote "HALLO? ANYONE THERE?". Good times. :P

When I bought a Wii (January 2007), I joined two Danish Nintendo websites a few weeks later, and over the past 3 years, I got new friends. The highlight was in February this year, when one of the websites, N-Gamez.dk, arranged their 5th 'Nintendo weekend', named Battle 5.
A whole weekend, where around 28 members played Nintendo-games together. It was so nice to meet everyone in real life. :awesome: It was the best weekend in my life ever.

But I noticed both websites used Cubed3.com as a source for their news, and then I start visiting C3 many times every week. I thought it was a nice Nintendo-community, and I wanted to improve my English, so I decided to sign up. :D

I didn't have the internet before I joined C3, I didn't have a job, so yeah I was at college studying I.T.
