Many people already expect something like this for Wii U since Nintendo did it for the 3DS. If Nintendo actually does it for Wii U then people are going to wait to purchase future Nintendo consoles, expecting the same eventual price drop.<br/><br/>I think it would be a mistake to cut the price now. Since the Xbox One event there has been a big drop in hostility towards Wii U in the comment sections of gaming websites.
