Yeah, its very simple. As it's your first time get www.reddit.com/r/buildapc to look over it, good hivemind over there. There's loads of tutorials but nothing will fit where it shouldn't. Pretty much plug and play these days. You'll get a much better system also. The hardest bit is probably getting your head around parts, brands and compatibility. If you need a hand you can always give me a hollah!

Looks rather tasty Echoes, I'm thinking about giving PC building a bash over the summer, my parents need a new setup and I would like the experience. A few people have told me is actually pretty straightforward, would you agree?

It cost me £67, if you ask me, well worth the price. I wasn't going to get one as my main HDD because £ per gigabyte is still pretty poor, but having it as a Boot drive and some of the more used programs I can't fault it. As I said before, my system takes around 30seconds to boot up. I'm still not used to it. Chrome, Office and my drivers open up instantly, its insane. My 1TB HDD is pretty good too though, it's also SataIII architecture so the read speeds are pretty quick, thought the SSD is on another level entirely.
